i know just how you feel about disapointment, imagine this, you buy a complete set, wait 15 days for your birthday,it comes, you open the set connect it all up and nothing works, i had to send the whole thing back and get a replacement, so i fully understand your disapointment at it not working,but the good thing is you got a replacement which works, i just hope one day either carrera or scalextric come with zebre 3 from starsky and hutch, yes that was their call sign,but the ford gran torino, that would look awesome on any track.recreating the opening title scenes from that great show
There seems to be a common fault on this model where some lights flash but then fail, some are permanently on and some like mine don’t flash at all. The shop I bought it from tested three others they had, all with the same fault. I am still waiting for a working replacement two months later.

So crazy to think that’s what police cars looked like when I was born.
They have a Fire Department version of the Dodge Monaco too, I think it might be from the Kurt Russell movie "Backdraft"
