Favorite for endurance is 60 min straight swim, which I know isn’t technically a distance… I have found with my own hair experiments, the delta is 3-4s/100m. This is much slower pace, however. Like around 1:50/100.

Sharksuits increase the drag next the skin so that a boundary layer of water travels with the swimmer, and water to water friction is much less than water to water friction. Wouldn’t hair have same or similar effect as sharkskin swim stuff? In the water, is friction the same as drag? It seems to me that hair of some length would make you go faster. I know from my sailboat racing days that waxing the bottom of a boat is slower than if the boat has a sanded bottom because of the boundary layer effect. This really confuses me from a hydrodynamics and physics point of view about swimming.

Don't pull up!! Pull in the same direction but more horizontally. It's just as effective at removing hair but hurts less.

Waxin is actually way more painful for men because the leg / chesthair whatever is way thicker.
