People should not panic. 1999 cyclone was a category 5 cyclone. Fani was a category 4 cyclone. This cyclone is such a less intensity cyclone that even it is not coming under category 1. So its impact will be very low in actual. But to get undue benefits, some people will hike this aspect. Onion price has been doubled, like wise other essential commodities. Market price is the real impact of cyclone propaganda, not the cyclone DANA.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see that this year no powerful cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal. Cyclone Remal was also very weak compared to Super Cyclones Amphan and Fani. I think it's still important to be aware that 4 months ago, Cyclone Remal caused more deaths than Amphan and Fani.
