Simple teaching but profound. "During that time, as short as it may be, you are not contaminated, you are not corrupted by your emotion, at that time, you are a holy person." OH AM HUNG 🙏🙏🙏
Dzongsar Khyentse is so pragmatic. Some teachers still think that we live in 19th Century Tibet, and that a handful of full-time retreatants or their upper-middle-class students who can afford to take time off work to travel and come to their teachings and retreats will be sufficient to transform society. And as for everyone else, too bad, so sad. Alan Wallace is brutal for this, and he's not even Tibetan! One Tricycle article called "The Upper Middle Way", written by a working-class guy who makes barely enough to scrape by working two jobs talked about the great difficulties of practicing consistently when you don't make enough or have enough job security to travel anywhere for retreats and work uneven hours, and how this problem is only going to get worse as income inequality continues to increase. Furthermore, most of Buddhism seems unwilling to deal with these and other pressing concerns of the present day, like the impact of artificial intelligence and neuroscience. Now it's finally being forced to, due to the appearance of ChatGPT. So, yeah...

My deepest greetings to Khyentse RInpoche, I found Shambhala. Like to share. I studied Tibetan at Paris University INALCO for five years and researched Ngorpa Kalachakra for many many years. Make Skypes?
I love the way he explain the Sadhana
