0:04 - 3:30 Allegro (energetically tranquil) 3:34 - 5:49 Andante (calm, but not solemn) 5:50 - 8:44 Allegro Molto (purely energetic) 8:53 - 10:25 Allegro Vivo (ivigorating, kind of like waking up super late on the weekend)
When all the four instrumentalists simultaneously play it gives the effect of playing duplication of the same copy of melody on both upper and lower octave ( both of the hands) with addition of two more keys (notes) in between to make chords on foot-pumped harmonium. But when the individual instrumentalists separately play at some parts the voices of the individual instruments are clearly understandable.
I remember in my teens hearing a cd "French music for clarinet & piano" & marvelling that it contained a sonata by two different composers who were in their 80s when they wrote it. That included Francaix, who was photographed with the performers in the record sleeve but died a few years later. Tonight, being in jaded middle age, I marvel again at the longevity of some and note that this wind quartet, like other of Francaix's work, is very melodic despite its recent (late20thC?) vintage.

An exquisite performance of a delightful composition!
Hurrah! What a wonderful performance. I wish all the best to all the four of you to perform well in more and more pieces like this.
Didn't know Jordan Peterson was a musician too sweet!
