It's my first time attempting to build anything from scratch. These videos have been so helpful. They've kept my attention with the humor and educated me on what to look for so I'm not wasting time and money. ☺
Hey there, so glad I came across your videos. Done a couple of project with Birch Ply from Universal, what a great product. Anyhow, now looking to make a woodwork bench. Want it to be solid and stable and last a lifetime, and I'm a sucker for aesthetics so it needs to be soft on the eye as well. So initially thought about laminating birchply into a solid sidegrain tabletop and to the same for the legs et all, but also see there are things like LAM and LVL beams, whats the difference between them, and what will be more cost effective?
Very valuable information that will save lots of headaches and ensure you have fun with wood. Thanks.
Thanks Wally, what projects are you working on at the moment?
