It’s cause kickers know that 1 bad game can be the end of their careers. which piles on extra stress. Also, as a golfer if I hit a bad shot, each subsequent shot is more likely to be bad.

Well said. A lot of individual games like golf, tennis, and bowling are 90% mental and only 10% physical. Having bowled competitively for 18 years, two or three bad frames can mean the difference between winning and losing. When you’re playing for $20,000, that’s a lot of stress to get your mind and body right again and hit everything perfectly. The same goes with kickers, as you said. One or two bad kicks can mean the game and your spot on the roster.

Marcos Flores obviously which is my point where i said “break the real football players hearts” think about this ; they’re players who don’t run, lift, or are athletic. They do nothing but kick between two stick in a sport that uses hands almost 98% of the time, After grueling training camp and practice sessions the “real” players have to watch some ex soccer player who is probably 5’8 160 define their fate? That’s like being in a relationship for six months and u finally get her in the bedroom and all of a sudden another guy taps in

Just took a practice wonderlic test that was only 25 questions long, but also only 6 minutes allotted time. So half the actual wonderlic which is 50 questions in 12 minutes. Got a 21 out of 25..... so I assume if I did as well on the other 25 I can roughly guess I would get a 42. That would be among the top 10 scores in NFL history since they started administering the test. So compared to football players.... I'm a genius. I'm sure McAfee would like to know this if he doesn't already. There has only been 1 perfect wonderlic score by an NFL player. Pat McInally... a punter back in 1975.
Just took a 50 question 12 minute one. Only answered 44 of them but still managed a 40 score. So had I picked up the pace probably could've gotten that 42.... or higher. Hardest thing about that test is the time crunch. Questions are pretty simple. Can't believe how low NFL players usually score. Offensive linemen have the highest average score among position players and their average score is 26?!
If you're wondering what you'd get..... here you go. Try yourself. wonderlictestsample.com/

Football players are pushed through the education system heavily by the schools. Many times, you'll hear about guys completely skipping classes for a semester just to focus on the game. "Student Athlete" is a joke. A great example of college athletes not giving a shit about school is Ben Simmons(not a football player, but still a good example). There's a great documentary on his time at LSU and how little he cared about academics. I'm not surprised at all that by the numbers, most NFL players are below average intelligence wise.

@@nathancrapo9788 Honestly, I dont get it. German politics are much more regressiv then in the US, I mean you are pretty much a libitarian country but when it comes to Alcohol, Cigarettes and sex, you guys freak out. Why? I mean you have to be 21 to drink, how stupid is that?

Pascal Deßloch because your brain is still developing even at age 21 and alcohol can damage that development. Also cigarettes are pretty sticks of lung cancer so have fun with those

Pascal Deßloch . Cigarettes smell like ass. People have the right to do pretty much whatever they want on their own property (smoke all you want, sex, and you can drink with parents permission), but in public for the common good, we restrict what people can do.

Adam Vinatieri is definitely not the GOAT. Only thing he has in longevity and kicks in a SB. He is not even Top30 in FG effeciency.

His unbuttoned show is good at diving deep into nfl. I'm not sure if this is because this is from the past and he wasn't as refined but he is good now to me. It is either that or maybe because his personality in this just did not jel with mcafee who is a character.

A funny man with some great insights and a willingness to laugh at himself - which is rare enough. I'd rather hear McAffee talk football than conspiracy theories. I shut down when he goes off the rails on his show. I hope he's kidding when he does that, but his delivery is very earnest...🙄
