This song is so good it needs to be a hit. Both versions. Can be a pop hit and a jazz hit. Especially needs to hit in the US. A year and a half later Love Don’t Let Me Go is still doing very well internationally and but still not so much in the US. It plays occasionally on an US online jazz station but still hasn’t really cracked the US market. Hopefully Bad Valentine will break through once more people hear it. May take a while, but it can happen, especially if we all try to help make it happen. If she is somehow able to get on some TV shows that could help but the song might need some traction first.

Hey Toby I just love everything you are doing! My mom & G’ma were Jazz singers. There are 2 songs over 70 years old that would be great for you to rewrite for Angelina is “bye, bye blues”. My mom did a version with a disco beat (lol) and did a fantastic job with the scat. The other has an intro that most musicians leave out. Called “Honeysuckle Rose” My family were native Californians but my mom lived the last 19 yrs of her life in Sweden, because she married a Swede. She continue to sing jazz music up into her mid 80’s. She even had a gig once a week playing piano for the lunch time group in the Lipstick building in Gothenburg.
