I mean this unironically, these games get better the more you play them. They're designed for you to get more out of them as you learn them, and discover them. Mooncat is amazing, and if you let the weird first impression turn you off, you'll never see how it flows when you really get used to the controls.
During the golf RPG game, the controls should be normal, I’ve never had that issue in my time getting cherry
I wish they gave Mooncat more of a chance. That was the first game of the 50 I actually beat and I absolutely loved it.
