Ok, I was never a fan of lemon baked goods... and I'm not much of a fan of these iced ones... but like 5 years ago they had a powdered sugar coated lemon cookies called Savannah Smiles, I want to say? I still dream of those to this day 😔😂

The Lemonades are my favorite and I am not normally a lemon dessert kind of gal. They have changed me. Also I have found that the Lemon Kit Kats taste a lot like the Lemonade G.S. cookies, so if you like one, you'll probably like the other.
I LOVE the lemonade cookies! It is the only kind of girl scout cookie that no one else in my house eats so I get to have them to myself. Plus lemon desserts are incredible, so refreshing!
The Savannah Smiles. Those were my girls! but they discontinued those, and got second best the lemonades. I loved sour things as a kid and lemon flavored things as a kid. I like it now, but definitley not a first choice.
I'm in Louisville, Ky.... home of Little Brownie Bakers (the east coast GS cookie bakery) 😄. I never understood why they call the cookies by different names depending on where you are in the US. My favorites are Samoas and Trefoils. I 100% feel you on the mint/chocolate combo, but I do love cilantro!
We freeze them, too! In fact, my hubby only eats his thin mints right out of the freezer. I like the shortbread cookies with coffee. But my faves are the Carmel Delights and the Peanut Butter Patties-I’m in Kansas City, so they’re not called Samoas here 😜
I had to go gluten free this year. Sadly I order Girl Scout cookies before this happened but I had order Carmel chocolate chip cookies and I will attest to them being pretty good. I order like a whole case more after. My favorite Girl Scout cookies growing up was the lemon sandwich creams or the animal treasure (shortbread w/ animal pictures and a chocolate coated back). They were discontinued at some point can’t remember when tho. Also the different baker cookies are different and I do notice a difference. In my area based on county there are different cookies though so tbh I can never remember which cookies versions I like better. My girls scout region switched bakers at some point during my Girl Scout tenure. The. They switched back. Idk Girl Scouts was great it’s full of great memories for me. Thanks for feeding my nostalgia today.
I love the s’mores and shortbread ones. I love shortbread cookies in general. But I love the lemonades as well. They used to have shortbread with chocolate bottom called all abouts that I loved when I was selling
the toffee tastics give me flashbacks to when my troop couldn't sell them cause no one liked them so we had a ton of boxes left over after cookie season ended and for multiple trips afterwards all we had for snacks and desserts were toffee tastics.

You should compare the girl scout cookies to the closest option from the grocery store. I'm not sure it they are regional but I think Keebler cookies have quite a few girl scout dupes! 🍪🥰
Hot take: I don't really like Somoas. Its so many people's favorites but it hurts my teeth and the texture doesn't work for me at all. I'm not saying I don't get why people like them they're just not my personal type of cookie. Also, speaking of lemon...yes...I LOVE lemon desserts! Those and thin mints are my favorites.

I grew up in Alaska, and moved to Washington a couple years ago, and I got girl scout cookies for the first time this year since moving, and I couldve sworn the lemon cookies were in different packaging and looked different. They could've changed them tho, but still.
I made homemade thin mints in my cooking class in high school and oh my lord they were incredible! We kept the in the fridge so the chocolate wouldn’t melt and they tasted so good cold!

so I like thin mints but I think the Keebler grasshopper cookies are better. You can get them year round at a fraction of the cost.

My personal idea of a G.S. cookie scam is thinking I bought the ABC Thin Mints and realizing they're Little Brownie. The ABCs are so much better imo.
