It's very important for women to speak the truth about their own parents not supporting them for the simple reason that 'log kya kahenge'. Many women are suffering and continue to live with toxic husband because their own mother is worried about society. Kudos to you Charu for being so brave and mentioning that her mother did not support her. People often start judging that daughter is talking bad about her mother, but the truth has to be told. Our parents generation give more importance to society and ignore how her daughter will live with such toxicity throughout her life. They cannot understand that a woman can support herself and does not have to suffer through toxic spouses for financial reason like their generation did.

Also, such narcissistic people use the other person's past to hurt them ...first, they try to make it look like oh...we are so proud of u n make u feel happy...then they drain u n make you starve for their attention... They use the past to justify their actions and the victim feels so helpless because they are guilt-tripping all the time.

I've always respected Sushmita Sen and now my respect for her has doubled. She isn't taking her brother's side or her sis-in-law's side. But she gave a wise advice to her sis-in-law: DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. Such a great woman! And my heart goes out to Asopa. She is stronger than she thinks. Sushmita Sen is my inspiration. She is my favourite. Her personality is very strong and i love her when she speak so beautifully.

He is just a spoilt, rich mamma boy and has a high opinion of himself. This woman has a career and can move on and look after herself and her daughter without his drama, because without the drama, nobody knows or cares who rajeev sen is.
I'm married to a narcissistic man too who has had similar disappearing patterns during conflicts...its been 23 years plus a set of ungrateful parents, but i have noticed that life has a way of straightening men like this out...good luck to this beautiful strong lady

Usually such interviews receive a lot of flak for oversharing on social media but not this one. Mainly because it is the sad reality of many women in this country who can either relate to it or have seen someone go through it. More power to you Charu!!

It's very important for women to speak the truth about their own parents not supporting them for the simple reason that 'log kya kahenge'. Many women are suffering and continue to live with toxic husband because their own mother is worried about society. Kudos to you Charu for being so brave and mentioning that her mother did not support her. People often start judging that daughter is talking bad about her mother, but the truth has to be told. Our parents generation give more importance to society and ignore how her daughter will live with such toxicity throughout her life. They cannot understand that a woman can support herself and does not have to suffer through toxic spouses for financial reason like their generation did.

I am living with one such monster for the past 32 yrs. But my MIL was my frnd n I stuck in this much. But when I realised he's a narc ....its bn 12 yrs now that I stopped taking his BS N stopped letting fear control me n stopped crying n hv bcome a hard rock. My baby boy is 30 yrs. But I keep myself bzee with my pet birds n yes destress myself. I don't cage them as I leave them out in my balcony garden n the complete house is almost a jungle. But my man is very JEALOUS that I hv moved on in life. He liked keeping me STAGNATED but not any more. 👍☹️🙏🎉

This is a classic case of narcissism ...silent treatment, avoiding the problem, running away from the situation, overreacting, and finding faults in every other person than themselves. Poor Charu...she is the victim of narcissism and it takes a lot of courage to get out of this.
Also, such narcissistic people use the other person's past to hurt them ...first, they try to make it look like oh...we are so proud of u n make u feel happy...then they drain u n make you starve for their attention... They use the past to justify their actions and the victim feels so helpless because they are guilt-tripping all the time.

Thanks Siddharth for this Interview, It is really needed. Now everyone knows why charu has taken this decision even after Ziana. Everyone got answer to all the question . Now we can understand how charu suffer it and most important if trust is not there then there is no point to be together. Charu has taken the right decision, she need to move on for her own and Ziana happiness.
I am watching her interview again after a year. The way she is handling her career, bringing up her daughter and on top of it she has never once even indirectly insulted her in-laws in any way. She has never expected any financial favours from her in laws. She is so sensible and matured.

If not all but most of the people have to face it. All parents are not supportive. Infact in most cases parents ki wajah se hi sabse zyada problems hoti hai baccho ko. Parents ki dakiyanoosi soch aur extreme control ke kaaran. Shaadi karo. Bacchey karo. Isi time par karo warna duniya khatam ho jaigi and all that bull shit jiski wajah se bacchey apna dimaag use he nahi kar paatey aur sirf pressure mai Aakar shaadi jaise badey decisions ley letey hai. I’m not saying all parents are wrong. But most of the Indian parents are! Love your parents and serve them but don’t be dominated by them. There’s a huge difference between respect and slavery. Parents like only those kids who listen to them. They want everything according to them. This is not love. It’s sheer control and dominance. Get out of it at the earliest. And in the future give space to your kids. Teach them to have their own mind not the parent’s dictated mind. Zyadatar parents ko logo ki padi rehti hai. Woh log jo aapko kabhi nahi poochtey but apna garbage aap par zaroor daaltey hai. Block such people from your life completely.

Wow, this interview has been such an eye-opener, and has all the hallmarks of Narcissistic abuse. I also have been through this and absolutely believe her in what she is saying. She has become a shell of herself. It will take time to recover from it, but leaving is the best thing that she can do for herself and her baby.
