As a French native, Margarita’s pronunciation is really impressive ! It’s very hard to have a good _R_ sound, sometimes people said it too rough (like in Swiss German) or too soft (like Spanish or Russian) but she really hit the right point !

How did she get her accent sounding so native that is crazy! Part of my family is Russian but completely fluent in English living in the US for years; the Russian accent has not left their speech in the slightest 😅
I guess they just didn't wanna get rid of it and that's the outcome. It's possible, but a strong desire is essential. I'm saying that as a native Russian speaker btw who has lived in the US for just 6mo and already fooled some Americans into thinking that I was born here. Though I've been consuming some American content for like 15 years and it really helped me to pick up alotta words and the accent itself.

Hey Ryan, @ 12:12 you said a word of which the english translation is "but". I recognized that word for in ancient Sanskrit its pronounced "Ya-dhya-pi" with a shorter "a" pronounciation more like "yea" instead of "ya". Languages are so interesting!

@ociones there are a ton of people from other countries who speak great english, the difference is that Russian girl speaks with almost no accent.
The Russian girl can speak Russian, English & Chinese, and the accent is spot on. That's amazing!
