I think the calculation for lightning strike is correct. The problem with your calculations is that you assume that it will do its full damage every time. If the enemy has 100hp left and you hit it for 2200, then you see the number 2200, but only 100 is added to the damage total. Pretty much never you'll be in a situation where every enemy has more than 2k hp for 30sec for the lightning strike to reach its full potential. But you can see how it melts bosses, who have lots of health
Damn, it really need to take a lot of time to get use of Sorceress. The regular attack, too close cannot hit, and the exact end of the attack also cannot hit. This is especially worse if you were auto-aiming... This game is almost the only roguelike PC game that allowed "auto-aim", but almost all of the characters were designed to force your to toggle off auto-aim and manually use cursor to aim... Beside Sorceress, another good examples are Shield Maiden and Cleric. Shield Maiden's knockback skill doesn't auto-aim, Cleric's attack lesser target to get higher damage so you are forced to manual aim.
By the way, there's a secret in the first level. It's so annoying to find that I'm going to drop a hint right here: Follow the blood trails. (You'll still need to find them, and I don't think they're always in the same place. I do think they tend to be near the start.) I'm not entirely sure what the secret is for... maybe it makes the Lord easier?
I think the reason kugelblitz do more damage than the lightning strike is that the kugels are killing enemies outside the screen. Like really far out. While lightning strike is hitting only enemy on screen or on the edge.
It'd be cool if you could equip abilities before the game starts, similar to how the equipment system works. That way there wouldn't be so much RNG involved. Of course, it could also be like Armor in the sense that you have to either send them up the well or maybe some other new but similar mechanic? Either that or a potion that lets you reroll the spells you can pick.
I had a very similar build a couple days ago, but with aura instead of orbs, and I went for the kugel upgrades that make them hover slower, plus a lot of attack speed and piercing. And I had Agony on. At the 5 minute mark I hit Agony 3, and the amount of electricity on screen made me have like 3 fps max lol
"This is sad." There were a bunch of upgrades that you didn't seem to want... but one of them was move speed, and move speed increases the speed of the Orbs (only while you're moving, I think). Okay... and then you mentioned knowing about that later, so I'm really confused.
Get the passive that turns crit into electrify, go full crit and hope for Kugelblitz upgrades. I got the achievement on the final boss on the bridge within a few seconds. I tried it on the nearly invincible ghost soldiers but for some reason it didnt work on them.
Kugelblitz may have been so strong due to the fact you had 4 of them out at a time toward the end, so divide the dps by 4 and each kugelblitz was really only 7.5k dps
Calling it Zeus Build. Kugelblitz wasn't there in earlier episodes, did you have to unlock it? Edit: I did some research upon being curious but Kugelblitz is basically a state of energy. If enough energy is concentrated in a very small area, it will create a Kugelblitz or Mini Black Hole.
The way the quests are laid out, it appears one ability is unlocked with each character. Kugelblitz is on the Shieldmaiden's quest tab (not as an unlock, but the quests to unlock the upgrades for the Kugelblitz.)
It will never cease to amaze me how you can be one of the most data-minded youtubers out there that makes even spreadsheets and shit and sometimes you MISS the most obvious things... MOVEMENT SPEED affects Kugelbitz. I wanted to facepalm so hard when you said "Kugelbitz just hits a few and then keeps on going, I don't understand why it's DPS is so high" NO, with the upgrade that makes it "follow" mobs it begins circling around the area outside your screen killing almost all the bats and mobs that spawn out there, except for the statues. It's not the lightning strike that's killing them, it's the lightning balls, your lighntning balls DPS got higher when you chose movement speed several times in a row because you had no other choice. You also made the same mistake with the Warlock video, DURATION OF SUMMONS and MOVEMENT SPEED makes it so that you have a whole bunch of ghosts killing mobs as they spawn circling just outside your screen, you see them "shoot out" and think they just go into oblivion, they don't, this can be seen when the wave stops and some mobs are still on screen, you'll see some summons or balls go back into your screen to kill them. Movement speed gives your balls and the ghosts, and other summons (skelly bois, imps, rats, golem) more RANGE and SPEED of movement, at first it seems underwhelming because they just kiiind of move very slightly left or right when you shoot them, when you increase movement speed you see them do even 180 turns to follow the nearest mob. That's why you see that in some of the "upgrades" the "cost" for their damage is also "less time", to balance this out. With "Vanguard" they shoot out "farther away" before they start circling, they have some kind of Newtonian physics going on where they need to lower their momentum before being able to steer, like when you dodge a bat and it takes a few seconds to stop and begin flying towards you again, those same mechanics are present on your summons and the lightning balls and it can be mitigated with MOVEMENT SPEED. EDIT: YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE, WHEN THE GHOSTS CAME ON, THE AMOUNT OF XP THAT ACCUMULATED JUST OUTSIDE YOUR SCREEN.
You should Let everyone know..... that the lightning strike ability Sucks ASS at the start of the game, and is Rough to even hit 750,000 to unlock the extra upgrades.. let alone 1,500,000 for the explosive buff.

if you find both the boss spawns with 50% health

Also, Kugelblitz goes in somewhat of a straight line. It goes past enemies too, it pierces through.
@@Arcticaninekugelblitz can be modded to chase enemies like the warlock ghosts
Kugelbliz is absolutely insane, especially with the electrify build.
One commenter saved me.
Use the shield maiden to unlock kugelblitz. And then farm 1.5M damage on Kugel to unlock the chain lightning upgrade.

28:27 2100 electrify so 2000 isnt cap and im pretty sure i saw a 2200 in there somewhere before that
I love halls of torment, very cool, especially since I kind of burnt out on vampire survivors

PLEASE HELP!!! How did you get 20 stacks of electrify on one enemy. Can’t seem to figure that one out.

Nice build. btw they're gonna add "rerolling" and "banishing" to this game and a new npc that lets you do that.

it seems they nerfed lightninge strike since now it does not do barely any damage
re rolls and banishing are coming
