@@thekeysman6760 thank you so much for adding nothing to the conversation. Please also be aware that these phones auto type for you and etc. Also reading back some of your convo I see things that can be corrected as well.
MIDI out from keyboard to Live* (Ableton is the company name!), MIDI out to the sequencer in Koala, MIDI back in to trigger your keyboard plugins. Simple.
@@thekeysman6760 thanks. So I have aruturia keyboard into Ableton Live. I have a Scarlett focusrite interface. From what I can now gather, I’ll need a second (beringher) interface. I’ll connect headphone out on Scarlett to input on beringher. Then output from beringher to a usb hub attached to my iPad. Hopefully @NervousCooks confirm this is correct )
So your question holds a contradiction. I imagine you want to the sequencer in Koala to play back your sounds in Live, and you aren't actually needing to "record your keys into Live" but rather just play the instrument plugin. Am I right?
@@thekeysman6760 basically I want to record my Arthuria keys into koala on my iPad. I have the arturia as a plugin in ableton, but it’s also standalone, so maybe ableton can be removed from the equation. I just want to play my arturia keys, which are on my Mac, into koala directly, which is on my iPad. No recording in ableton and airdropping etc. just play straight in as we see this guy play directly via his midi keyboard controller )
@@guitargirlutube Explain "record". Do you mean audio or MIDI? Nervous Cook$ records both audio and MIDI into Koala, so explain which you mean. If it's recording your playing to audio, then yes, you don't need 'Live', the software. Ableton is the company name. It's like you're calling all vacuum cleaners a 'Hoover' when they aren't.
Great work sir. Love the break down. I liked your beat. I like it even more now from the visuals. Your right about the challenges..very fun
Thank you! I plan on doing it for every beat I submit. 🙂
Very welcome. Actually pretty smart idea. I’ve been apart of all except the first. Again though very smart
@@RobultrabeatzA part*, not apart meaning separate from! 😉

Excellent beat and process. Can you help me please- how do I record my keys in ableton, directly into koala in real time? )
