Privileged to have seen both performances at Berkeley. Utterly remarkable. Their playing and chemistry were phenomenal! These men will make your jaw drop to the floor.
They have amazing chemistry together! I would love to hear an album!!! Bireli has been my favorite since I saw him live at Fat Tuesdays for 5 nights in 1984, and Martin has become a new favorite! Incredible that he played with Stephan after Django!
@@tgbedini Nice! I saw a video here on YT of him playing with Stephan out doors, I think in San Francisco. Great concert! Stephan was amazing right to the end!
I have tickets for MT and BL at the Musical Instruments Museum in September. Really looking forward to it. I've seen them both there before.....Some seriously sublime guitar
Two guys looking pretty uncomfortable? This is like keeping a Picasso in the bathroom? Maybe two chairs? These guys could sound great anywhere but take a minute set up a microphone and let them sit and play???
It literally was a spontaneous jam when they visited the Fibonacci guitar workshop - as they had to go, it was filmed on a phone, they were wearing their coats about to leave
Quello che sento è sostanzialmente “ zun e zun e zun e zun…” ed un suono metallico orribile. Si ok la tecnica, ok gli arpeggi, ma dopo un po’ ti rumpi i c********
Too easy a tune for them, next time post a duet/duel on ...Inner urge,Giant Steps,Countdown or On Broadway..l'd appreciate if you played with electrics and with some edge(mild distortion a la Holdsworth)
Together at last.....The two greatest jazz guitarists on Earth IMO!
I wouldn’t go that far but nice to see them playing together anyway.
Definitely two of the greatest! Both are masters of the instrument and are able to play in any style. Living treasures!
Je prefère des plus petits mais musicaux
Two legends!!👍
1.4 of the 6.8 greatest

Two of the greats and I like how Bireli just rests his guitar on the back of the lounge!

When Martin was playing with Stephane I got to hear them in Albuquerque. Martin was in his early 20s, I think, and just a treat.

@@pjjmsn I had a CD of Grappelli's 85 birthday concert, with Bucky on guitar. He was still glorious.
With Larry Coryell and Vic Juris? I was there for two nights.
Magic.
@@Hendtrane Yes!!! And Les Paul was sitting at the bar in the back. I was there to see Larry. I had never heard of Bireli. Amazing!
Dément, ces deux là feraient chanter un cageot ! Que du bonheur.

Terrible
Poor Bireli has really aged. Looks like he's been hitting the sauce pretty heavily but what a talent!
Fantastic!
