I personally don't have a problem with Lance or Lance players, my problem is with passive Lance players and especially passive Scarlets in mid plat. Sure I can counter it and it isn't broken or anything, however it's the most boring and frustrating thing to deal with and it makes the game extra long for no reason. Passive Axe, Lance and Blasters players are the most boring to deal with. So much reward for little risks.

All lance true combos: sLight > dAir white to yellow HP sLight > nAir yellow to light red HP sLight > recovery mid to dark red HP DON'T USE: sLight > nLight dAir > dLight white/early yellow HP nAir > dAir white/yellow heath but very hard to land consistently nAir > sAir optimal follow up when trying to kill nAir > recovery depends on where you hit the opponent and what HP they are at nAir > GC nLight is useless nAir > exhausted recovery only works situationally Thank me later :P
recovery is better cuz you can follow it up with reverse dair if they spot or dodge down/inwards to where u start sairif they dodge any direction up or gp if they dodge away (underneath u)
I also struggle hitting it true,I always see people input it so fast and I don't understand how,maybe you just need to practice the input until it gets consistent... (Instantly press down after the slight,then input attack and jump at the same time) Or use side light+nair more instead since it's much more consistent
I spamming my dash button sometimes for my combos to work. Combos that I do perfectly fast and we'll executed would look slow and miss without it sometimes. Idk if this is a good tip or helpful, but that's just my experience with this game.

Please make a video on controller inputs, every video on youtube tells you and shows you the ingame combos but none of them really tell you the inputs for controller. for example lane side light into down air sounds easy but what no one tells you is you have to hit down and air at the same time before you can down air. the full inputs would be appreciated for the other combos. not one video on youtube does that

Like the only thing I watched was how to learn the gauntlets. I’ve taught myself how to use weapons because if I watch videos on how to combo I’m going to rely on the moves I watch and try to get it in my head.
It's thought for players that use a key to jump instead of jump + aim up. If you are fast enough you can pull this combo with 0-6 dodge windows with arrow keys
