I have a question my Honda unicorn 150 milage is low current milage is approx 35 to 40kmpl have to improve but I can't when I start to the setting of air screw it s just increase 5000rpm . I did the same to my bike earlier it was covering 900-1000 meteres (single rider in top gear 50-60 speed) but after adjusting the air fuel mixture now my bike is going 1300-1400 meters in one full carb.

I have a Karizma R 2014 model (pre facelift) done 18000 kms. I am unable to ride the bike slowly in 3 rd and 4 th gear between 2700-3700 rpm. It always stutters at that range and the ride is quite jerky. I need to open the throttle more often to get the bike going smoothly. EngiNe also sounds quite rough and loud and heats up quite easily. What could be the problem? Is it running too lean ?Do i need to clean the carb? Also, suggest me the best engine oil(Brand and Grade) for my bike.

Bro I have tasted it in the way u said... In off position my bike delivers exactly 1.5 km without any changes make into it... Shall I go further to inhance it or shall keep it as it is... Now.... I have a 2012 Karizma R, I am facing over heating issue. If I just travel around 5-10 kms in 40-60km speed it gets so hot that I can't put my legs on footresters. Engine Oil is changed in time. Anybody knows what's going on????, Also I can hear timing chain sound which gets a bit louder after engine gets heated.
1.Check your karizma tappet setting, if it's more than .10mm then bring it to .10mm 2.Change your engine oil, If you are willing to go with synthetic oil then put 20W 50 else 10W 30 in case of mineral oil. Dont go to the authorised service center cuz they charge 300 to 400 for just tappet settings. And before you go to any mechanic,ride your bike 7 to 8 km to get the high temperature of the cylinder.

No sir in this video we are not claiming Mileage, but we are assuming the enhancement as compaire to the previous condition...!! as per our reading currently if bike is giving 30KMPL then after Applying settings it would be around 48 KMPL which is not bad for 223CC engine.! :-)

yea.. its gonna effect the engine in long run.. the mixture is not right if u are getting 51.. it heats up fast and breaks down the engine on long run.. i get 28 in city.. due to traffic and my riding.. 33 on highway.. i did this trick in 2014.. used to get 36 in my city.. 40 on highway.. less traffic condition.. don't tweak too much.. affects the engine

try to increase the RPM of the bike Like (1200-1600) if it works then good if dnt ..Replace ur spark plug or try changing ur battery

I did the same to my bike earlier it was covering 900-1000 meteres (single rider in top gear 50-60 speed) but after adjusting the air fuel mixture now my bike is going 1300-1400 meters in one full carb.

I have a Karizma R 2014 model (pre facelift) done 18000 kms. I am unable to ride the bike slowly in 3 rd and 4 th gear between 2700-3700 rpm. It always stutters at that range and the ride is quite jerky. I need to open the throttle more often to get the bike going smoothly. EngiNe also sounds quite rough and loud and heats up quite easily. What could be the problem? Is it running too lean ?Do i need to clean the carb? Also, suggest me the best engine oil(Brand and Grade) for my bike.
yes you should and also tune it if you can..!!
Use shell 20w50 and 10w40 hx7 engine oil mix tum. . .
Check weather the oil pump in the engine isn't choke. . .

Plz reply me and wat else she I do to cool down my engine even though I don't row it hard..... It's starts to get heat in 3 km also at a speed of 40kmph.....!!??!!
For heating issue mix 90 no gear oil with ur engine oil with 70:30 ratio.
Or mix 20w50 and 10w40 engine oil and use it. . . Use shell if possible
I have a 2012 Karizma R, I am facing over heating issue. If I just travel around 5-10 kms in 40-60km speed it gets so hot that I can't put my legs on footresters. Engine Oil is changed in time. Anybody knows what's going on????, Also I can hear timing chain sound which gets a bit louder after engine gets heated.
1.Check your karizma tappet setting, if it's more than .10mm then bring it to .10mm
2.Change your engine oil,
If you are willing to go with synthetic oil then put 20W 50 else
10W 30 in case of mineral oil.
Dont go to the authorised service center cuz they charge 300 to 400 for just tappet settings.
And before you go to any mechanic,ride your bike 7 to 8 km
to get the high temperature of the cylinder.

As you know, Karizma is the most trusted touring bike in india, and we often take it for long rides. If we know the carburettor tuning it will be helpful for us when brake down happens in remote locations like Leh Ladakh and Spiti valley. Plus a fuel getting too

i had karizmaR 2011 model ran about 25000kms currently im getting 51kmpl..at 60-85km speed. Do i need to tune it to gain extra miles or leave it as it is..

I just tried your way and at first its run 0.9 km and after setting its take 1 km ......and the bike is 2012 karizma r ....what do you think should I try one more.???
and rpm goes maximum at 4
and also ur reading is 1.5 km ..after calculation the mileage of bike should be 50 km/l i.e. company's mileage...... is it work or not
yes of cose you can try as much as till you get satisfied with optimum mileage..
No sir in this video we are not claiming Mileage, but we are assuming the enhancement as compaire to the previous condition...!! as per our reading currently if bike is giving 30KMPL then after Applying settings it would be around 48 KMPL which is not bad for 223CC engine.! :-)

you need to change your bios battary jo ki odometer k ander hoti hy.
Bro change the fuse. Even I faced same problem, mechanic told me to change meter which costs 6000₹. I changed fuse which costs 8₹.
i wud really like to thank you for keeping up this good work as it helped me a lot recently i started getting 25kmpl on my karizma while earlier i used to get 35kmpl.Your tutorial restored my mileage to 35kmpl again.thanks once again.
question i wanna ask is that i read sum user is getting 51kmpl is that really possible to push karizma to that limit???

yea.. its gonna effect the engine in long run.. the mixture is not right if u are getting 51.. it heats up fast and breaks down the engine on long run.. i get 28 in city.. due to traffic and my riding.. 33 on highway.. i did this trick in 2014.. used to get 36 in my city.. 40 on highway.. less traffic condition.. don't tweak too much.. affects the engine

1000/35= 28.57*1.1= 30-35 km per lit hona hahiye.
