Thanks very much Dr. Campbell... Your videos are simply great !! One Q on this session: In your diagram about the whole lymphatics, where does the pulmonary lymph trunks join into ? - do they both join the duct on the right side, or do they individually join the left and right from each of the lungs ? Thanks for your time and effort.
I have quite a few questions......It just doesn't seem an intelligent design. If the lymph system is handling our metabolic waste, toxins, excess acids.. WHY would it drain back into our bloodstream?? If the bloodstream has to remain slightly alkaline ( 7.3-7.4 give or take ) WHY would a system exist in the body that could even potentially dump toxins back into it?? We live in a toxic world- food is toxic ( and most consume a high acid forming diet ), water is toxic, the air, etc.. Everything acidic. Lymph systems are stagnant and shutting down due to acidosis ( I am a health care worker so this is seen on a daily basis - the dis-ease is rampant and growing. I understand the lymph *nodes are designed to handle invaders/excess but they are clearly not, in innumerable cases to handle the contemporary level of extreme. It seems to me something is still missing from our complete view. It seems to me the lymph system must in some way also be connected to the eliminative organs (lungs, skin, bowels and kidneys.
Hey, It would've been very nice if you mentioned the specific names of those lymph nodes you referred to... (i.e.: deep inguinal, superficial iliac, etc...)
so there's a difference in type of fluid(and substances) that exit the capillaries between the blood capillaries and the lymph capillaries , considering there's no rbc's in lymph capillaries? is plasma interstitial fluid or something in plasma or does the plasma get converted?
hello, i recently had PRC surgery of the right hand. 5 days in, my hand is still swollen with good blood circulation, senssation and normal capillary refill. hand has a red-pinkish color. and always warm. any recommendations, suggestions, points to be considered, red flags? thanks

The lymphatic system dumps into kidney and not the bloodstream.
@@naduyndid you watch the Dr.'s video? It drains into the subclavian VEINS. Blood.
Great . What about thimus?
Thank you!

If you absorb oil thru your skin on your legs... does that turn the leg lymphatic fluid milky and white? Or does it stay clear?
Fantastic thanks
Very helpful

possible with cov2 the body isn't completely deoxygenating the rbc's before returning to the heart? from capillary restriction
Thanks for teaching me!
Ok, so the heart pumps out blood through the left side;
So, is this the reason why your left arm hurts first if you are about to have a heart attack?
