I love how this song just sounds like two good friends fighting knowing they do not want to fight. Their beliefs are so strong that they stand in each others way. Their goals cannot come to fruition with the other alive. So, they fight. Holding back punches at first until they realize this isn’t some sparring session. It’s the end for one of them. No matter what, one will be left standing. But neither will blame the other, as in the end they have lost a dear friend.
I mean aside from the doll, Gehrman has been the only friend you’ve had. He’s been there to give you guidance and advice during intervals of the journey so to have to fight him in order to give him some form of peace is… heartbreaking.
The best Bloodborn ending, after every horror you saw you don't feel rage, you don't feel sad, you feel empathy the empathy of liberating this old man and take his place, because despite how horrible Bloodborne's world is, you didn't loose yourself and you still know what is the right thing to do

This song fills me with the same emotions of Anakin VS Obiwan and Battle of The Heroes from Revenge of The Sith. It just has this aura of “I will do what I must.”

Doubled some instruments and put in concert hall or large room reverb. It's just a different mix really, reverb tends to sound "bigger". The choir section has many more voicings in the lower register as well so the overall mix sounds very full. If you compare the 2 back to back you'll hear a difference.
