TheTigereye22 if it helps - I JUST tried out this brand. After a 2 year loving tan user.... isle of paradise has replaced them. I use the self tanning drops in dark and holy moly it’s good. It looks sooo natural and I’m on day 5 and it hasn’t gone patchy or scaly at all. For some reason - it just looks more natural than all other self tanners I’ve tried. You don’t get the dark dots on all of your pores like you do with tanners that have the color guard.

TheTigereye22 hmm as a beginner - yes I would start with mousse. Get one with a color guard first (isle of paradise has one) so you can see where you’re applying. After your first bottle you’ll get the hang of it and eventually won’t need the color guard. The tanning drops have no color guard so nothing got stained. You can add 2-12 drops PER dollop of lotion. So you can add like 2 drops for your face, maybe 4 drops for each arm, etc. use a lotion that’s more liquid - no heavy creams. You can totally start with the drops too! I have no streaking or missed spots. Definitely exfoliate your entire body really well first and do not apply with your bare hands. Even though the product says you can, don’t. Wear some gloves and apply lotion with drops mixed in as normal. For mousse - use a mitt. With self tanner you just have to jump in and try and don’t be scared. If you mess up - it comes off. Hope that helps! 😊
