I think all hotels / flat / caravan owners should put pillow / matress protectors from day 1. They cost very little

Yep. It's just stomach turning to know what could be lurking on a mattress and a thin flat sheet is all you have protecting your skin! I vacuum my mattress every now and then, and all mattress and pillow protectors and everything is clean! And not really too sure why there's female spotting (yes, I know it happens) but these beds are usually used by adults so bit odd? I bet that a teenager will.spot. Anyhoo, I think some people are just mucky pups and it still surprises me. Enjoying your channel so I subbed.

I think that putting mattress protectors on after the bed is stained, is like shuuting the barn after the horse has already bolted. Before you put clean new protectors on, get a carpet steam cleaner to do the mattresses first. Then you protect nice clean beds.

Its lovely we are staying in an adapted caravan in a few months and so far the standard looks good, i hope it will be when we go. You are doing a great job letting people see it before they part with money and choose a good place to stay x

The mattress should be replaced, they should have protected it from the get go so you only have to replace the protector when an accident happens.

Ah this brings back memories of when my mam & dad had a caravan at Thornwick Bay back int 80’s when I was a kid. I used to love it there. Ours was 1st caravan as you drove on site. Used to love going into club to disco for some pop & crisps. Then get a bag of chips on way back to caravan, good days they were. Thanks for the video. ❤
I also used to go as a kid. My mum and dad had a static for about 10 years. Prior to been haven and PJ the dog was life 🤣👌🏻 . However that was more the naughties .. I would of loved to of seen what it was like in the 80's

😄 Another funny video, yet strangely informative - on one hand there was the Poo ornament (not literally 😬) on the other hand, some useful info regarding the Haven passes. I think it was a good value break. I appreciate about the extra cost for doing things but to have the freedom of feeling it's a home from home is something that you wouldn't get from a hotel room. Re the mattress, it'd be way too expensive for anywhere to replace one every time it got a bit stained but.......if you're doing it for a living or are a big business (like Haven) how hard would it be to have them steam cleaned on a rotational basis 🤔 Even if they're not visibly marked there's going to be a lot of dead skin cells if they're constantly slept in so if nothing else it'd keep them clean & fresh. I'll shut up now 😁

Great to see you back, I love a caravan hol with the family, haven is great & most of the entertainment is to. Hi Adam, glad you got to spend some quality time with your family. It looks like a nice place. Plenty of stuff to do too. As far as the mattress goes, I am sure it would be fine but take a can of spray disinfectant and go over the bed and couches to kill any lingering nasties. Leaves a nice fragrance too 😊

I love your videos i watch you all the time. Me, my mum, dad and little sister travel around the uk for football and we've stayed in hotels that have been a bit rubbish for my wheelchair. Keep up the good work 👏

@AdamsRottenRooms I support bradford city. Thank you that's very kind of you. I have cerebral palsy and I use my chair all the time and some hotels think that accessible is just getting the wheelchair through the door lol your videos are brilliant and always make me laugh
Great video, I love caravan holidays too. I would ask for a replacement mattress might be fussy but still once you see it you can't forget it. Got our caravan booked for Weymouth bay in march

We stayed their last year picked our own caravan had a sliver, we loved it and would definitely return, I just wish they would invest in the beds and mattress other wise it was fine.

Ah I'm so jealous....my son has a week booked in haven the 1st week of hols,they r going to Wales but I can't afford a holiday this year.....I do love a caravan holiday,My sister has one in rhyl on a lovely quiet site right on the beach.....hope you all had a lovely time 😊 also that mattress should be changed in my opinion....thank God it had the mattress protector on I would never of stayed on that otherwise

Just found you on here hey Adam, great first watch of your videos, you wanted to know opinions well here’s mine, firstly for the money you paid I would have expected it spotlessly clean, especially the matress, even with protector on 🤭 and outside to me was off putting weed killer would have done the trick! 😍tv and fire not working 100% shows lack care towards customers , after all surely the owners want people to return again. Caravan itself was very nice, and modern . Great presenting by you Adam you’re a funny guy that’s what us viewers like! Hope this helps! Looking forward to seeing past videos now👍👊

I agree with you...the house decor was wonderful until you got to the bedrooms. They were kind of blah. The pillow cases could have been colored and as you said the children's room should have had matching covers.
As for the mattress, the cover is fine. Mattress is stained but that doesn't mean it's not clean. It could have been scrubbed and sanitized and still not look clean. Mattresses are expensive and hard to afford new purchase for sweat marks or ladies monthly. Plastic covers prevent this but are uncomfortable to sleep on.
In the USA the setup is called a trailer. I think it was nice and very livable.

We did a caravan holiday in may in Devon..£78.for 5 day's.brand new top of range caravan..it was excellent and bargain price..

Hey Adam, I just love your channel and your fun personality you really make the videos fun to watch, I smile every time theres a new video to watch, and I constantly have a smile on my face watching the video, I really look forward to new videos from you.
So I apologise for what I'm about to write as I don't mean to put a downer on this but I'm really not a fan of caravans, and I don't think the price is that good, I always book a lodge with hot tub through hoseasons and I've had 4 night breaks for around £280 and that's including hot tub gas electric WiFi most times, sometimes entertainment swimming etc but usually we pay 1 price and everything is in it so even though this caravan is nice I don't think it's worth that money but if it suits you that's fine I'm not judging.
Maybe you could do a lodge with hot tub review ? Or something similar.
Anyway thanks for the laughs this is a brilliant channel full of fun, keep it up :) I am subscribed :)

The Bedding should match . It's not a hard thing . The vents need to be cleaned . Outside needs landscape maintenance. Otherwise it's ok . 😻

Yours would of been either primrose Valley or reighton sands. Both great sites
Hubby and I have stayed at numerous holiday parks around the UK and have paid up to £900 for a week in Brean Weston super Mare…and that was some yrs back!! 😫 I chuffin love watching your videos as you tell it like it is with no airs and graces….I agree with you on the bedding in the twin room, not a major prob though but would be a nice touch..The caravan was lovely tbh Adam nice bright and cheerful…😁 thunk price is bit much as think you can’t usually check in till 3pm on Friday, and have to be gone by 10am Monday…so you paying £280 plus £36 per adult pass, and £18 per child over 4yrs old….but you can’t beat a caravan holiday hands down!! ❤

Great video looks like a really nice place but the mattress thing the mattress needs to be sanitised no blood as hepatitis can live in congield blood no blood stains if there is then they should charge whoever was in there before you for the mattress it's a health and safety issue even for dwaarfs lol😅

I just paid £49 for Monday to friday in early October in the Filey, Yorkshire Haven. We paid the same price last year in June in the Blue Dolphin Haven and it was fantastic, we even got an upgraded Caravan for free.

@@AdamsRottenRooms Just on the Haven website. Put in the sites you want to check but don't put in a date but four night stay and you can scroll through the months and it shows all the prices. showing some right now in October for £49 or September for £65

Hi adam look at you going up in the world and staying in a caravan 😂😂😂 we use to take our kids to haven,most of them were good and a few weren,t, i think the problem is the cleaners dont get enough time to clean per van i,ve seen it on a programme on tv and some of the state people leave them in is disgusting, ( its happy campers on channel 5 or 4 lol think the series is nearly finished now) some of the private ones are probably better. And haven are not cheap they can be over £1000 a week in school holidays,as you will find out with your family. By the way i think people dont suscribe to a channel because they think they have to pay i could be wrong i,ve seen other youtubers mention it.

With the mattress accidents happen and if the blood urine sweat is left to dry your not getting it out. If the owners where to buy a new mattress every time they won't be able to afford to rent it out. As a woman with very heavy periods I've done it plenty of times I no men don't like this stuff but we leak an if we don't wake up then it can be dry in the morning. My current mattress is over a grand I've leaked on it 3 weeks after getting it tried everything to get it off but it's fecked an it will be few years before I get a new 1 it's clean but stained. And that mattress looks like mine cleaned but still stained sorry for the tmi
I completely agree with you. I think you've hit the nail on the head. Plus the mattress protector was spotless, so no issue for me with that upon reflection.
This is why u put the protector on straight away. Then you only have to replace the protector not the whole mattress

No that mattress should never have been in that state. Regardless of whether it had protectors on it or not. It's in need of being steam cleaned or replaced.

Lovely caravan, unless very lucky booking silver spec through Haven themselves doesn't come close. Clearly a well kept and privately owned caravan, sometimes you get lucky when booking if an owner lets through Haven but Haven owned are very bland and less looked after unfortunately.
