@@K-Rex589 I’ve traveled many places, but New Mexico is home to me. We don’t need people with your kind of attitude around here anyway in our beautiful state.
I love New Mexico! Grew up in SLC; took annual family vacations to Abiqui, Taos, etc. Would love to move there (am now in Minnesota - nice people, but six months of snow and ice doesn’t sound safe as I age 😂.) Two main concerns: 1. Water! With climate change, seems like this will become even more of an issue. Xeriscaping is big in NM, which is great...but are there signs of bigger trouble to come? (Diminishing snow pack, low reservoir levels, etc.? SLC has this.) 2. Air quality: With all the fires, which seem bound to continue given the megadrought, how often will it be unhealthy to breathe unfiltered air, say, 5-10 years from now? I’ve been thinking about Taos or Los Alamos - higher elevation = cooler summers; less expensive than Santa Fe. But I wonder how much of a damper it would put on my travels to be so far from a good-sized airport. Any advice would be appreciated! 💐
@@goosebump801 everywhere has lowering water levels. People don't think water will ever run out but it can and it is. Especially if east coasters keep moveing to the west. They don't Evan know what water conservation is. I like your user name by the way.
@@galvanizedhawleyday7781 Yes if you want to be in a show, come on down. They need so many extras for their shows and movies, if you're responsible and can take direction, you can get on!
Nope we don't want anything new or to be like Las Vegas Nevada or LA, New Mexico is perfect we don't need to change anything we are already losing culture.
I was born and raised in NM and if you’re gonna visit please don’t try to change our tradition by putting your two sense into it it’s traditional for a reason for example last years zozobra it was honestly really sad and our monuments etc. are being melted peed on or destroyed in general so please visit without trying to change our culture

@@merryprewitt1002 I’m so sorry about that. Was it because of one of the forest fires?
