Scott overall is a good character and but as an Alpha Derek was more badass at least in season 2, he got his ass kicked by Ennis and Kali in 3. Scott had some great moments, knocking that girl out when she tried to decapitate him, fighting the Oni. But the Kanima was a more formidable opponent as it couldn't really die and it was fast, paralyzing venom.

Scott deserves better no matter how much danger he is in he will never give up.He believes in people like when “the only way was to kill Jackson to save us all’ he still said they cant kill him,Jackson made Scott’s school life a living hell and still said no to killing him.He never gives up on his friends also when everybody was saying the only way to save them from void stiles was to kill him he never gave up on stiles he found another way even after being constantly told to kill him.He is a true leader he really does care about his friends and even people who are not his friends.He is so underrated.

And when derek said to the twins about joining the mccall's pack, "i'm sure you'd kill for him, but are you willing to die for him?", "you don't fight for a leader, you fight for a leader's cause" "scott is always about one thing, saving his friends, you wanna earn a place in his pack? You want redemption, find another way to stand and fight." And who wouldn't bow down to that? Derek Freaking "i'm-the-alpha" Hale admired him. Trusted him. If that's the guy you don't look up to. Idk what's wrong with you.
