Yours is definitely informative and entertaining. One of these days my lonely gold pan will see some gold until then thanks for the adventures.
Have you taken a sample of that soil you are finding the gold nuggets in back to test Chris? If you are finding all those specimens it could be loaded with fine gold weathered out the reef.
@@gadzee506 So is that like an old mine dump and the specimens just got overlooked by the old timers, with all that fine gold coming out those crushed rocks you would think there would be more if its bleeding out a reef.

I've just watched this Chris, I'm just wondering with the area that you can find gold like this with a detector, that took you six years to find. Would you be able to take me there one day please? I bought a gold monster over a year ago, and still have not really used it. I've been out a couple times in our area, to find that I have no idea where I'm supposed to even begin. Just once I would like to find something with it, without having to travel away from our area first. I must say I have learnt a lot from watching your videos, the knowledge gained is what everyone needs to know. Thankyou.
We have very heavily detected and worked that area now to the point where we are not finding any gold at all in that spot. Therfore taking you there would be pointless. But, with the gold monster you should be playing to its strengths. Primarily you shouyld be using it to hunt crevices on the creek, such as in the 9 mile.
When you're rock crushing in your dolly pot, do you do it by hand for the fun of the process? While watching, I had an idea that might make that process a bit easier on you
@@gloriabadon2694 get a roto-hammer and a longer chipping attachment, but cut the end of the chipping attachment to be flat like the hand held piece. How would a manual jaw crusher like yours compare to a similarly priced angle grinder or chainsaw powered impact mill for sampling? I know I'm relatively near a source of fine gold (probably not a very rich source but I'm still interested in finding it) but I have no way to crush rock other than smashing it with a large metal stake head in an old pot right now, which is way too much work for me.
The pros of the manual crusher are mainly it's simplicity. Ready to go anywhere any time. Faster than doing it by hand too. But ans kind of powered crusher will be faster and get the rock finer.

I think the black sulphide is a antinomy sulphide or galena, which do set detectors off when high quality
In this case no. It literally turns to rust in hours in contact with air. There are Galena deposits nearby however.
