Is there even any point in supermarkets selling fireworks anymore? The quality is so poor. The fountain pack might be pretty good for small kids but other than that, so dire. Your thoughts?
If you are just getting into pyro there's no harm. I wouldn't touch any selection box or rockets though and go for cakes or larger single fountains. I won't be buying anything from a supermarket this year. In fact I don't think I've bought from a supermarket since weco left the UK following Brexit.
the carnival box is a massive disappointment, 5 of the ‘fountains’ are just flares, so really there are only 3 tiny little box fountains lasting about 6 seconds if that
It sounds like the bedazzled box which had the same, 5 flares. I wish they'd stop rewrapping the same crap and actually add something different. I get there's a price point etc but they could put the small traffic cones box in there which would improve the box by 1000%
I've given up on supermarket fireworks altogether, they're weak feeble and built down to weaker watered down UKCA / CE specification to get the price down for the customer, and are poorer value for money, and it shows in the perfomance that you can see ie thinner effects, thinner bursts, limper performance, and shorter durations. Not worth the money. Better off going to an all year firework retailer, as the products are much more desirable in value and performance.
Wow Gary, no idea why you are searching to buy fireworks at Tesco's then!! 😂 Hope you enjoy the 5th from underneath your stone you just crawled out of 👍 💥💥
@@JimmyWhizz the public shouldn’t have access to fireworks. No one thinks of dogs for example who are shit scared of them. And some people letting them off early hours in morning. They’re also dangerous
