We adopted a flame point Siamese little girl, Mia, from a rescue a year and a half ago and have no regrets. When we looked the breed up online, flame points are known to be very doglike - loyal and people friendly. She gets along well with our other cats and is our little shadow, always near. He showed up for a reason. You won’t regret adding him to your family! ❤
Love to see the Rastaclats on your wrist! My lil bro's company. Thanks for the support. Great channel to boot.
Oh yeah. Does he own it. I need a sponsorship.
We get things moving. I agree several categories are slow on eBay. I do very well with vintage plush but haven’t sold a build a bear or squishmellow for a long time! There are definitely winners in every category. Occasionally, I even sell a Ty beanie baby, the Halloween ones are still sought after and go for reasonable prices.
Hello Kevin wishing you and your family well. Hopefully in fourth quarter we get things moving. Thanks for all you teach us, including the history lol
The new kitty is beautiful! I miss my Siamese girl so much! They are great kitties.
I sell a ton of sports team clothes..the key term is Sports
Hi Kevin, watch all your videos. All the items you mentioned are items I sell…not as much as I was selling for, but are still selling. I am a member of Dibdit and would love to win that cool bag. “We get things moving.” Love all your animals! You didn’t mention what the new kitty’s name is. Thank you to you and your family for all the good you do.
“We get things moving”. He’s soooo cute! That HD Jacket was very cool even if faded, it makes it unique! We’ve decided to do a two-part sale every weekend for the next month. We are getting a few more sales and getting some old inventory moving 😊
We get things moving. Keep up the great work. Learning so much from you.
With the cds and vinyl, it does seem like there are tons of listings now then just a few years ago, but a good title still sells consistently and that includes Elvis.
We are trying to get things moving. Great job Kevin. Thank you for the great videos. Don't tell Dave, but you are #1. Have a blessed day. Steve @ Athearn's Attic
We get things moving! Thanks for all the tips and information you share. 😊
"We get things moving" I recently bought one of the ones on Commons, but having the ornament would be great too. I sell several of those types of 'don't sell' items. I'm just more careful about what I pick up and how much I pay. My family has been calling me the mug lady since I have sold quite a few the past few months. Beautiful kitty!
Love your channel, my top 5 favorite youtubers! Thanks for your helpful information
We get things moving! Love your content ❤ Watch with my coffee every Saturday
Hey Kevin I remember a while back you said someone you follow showed you some things about glass and which ones to look out for what was her channel. I couldn't find which video of yours it was. You thanked her when you bought that large lot of glass. Thank you ahead of time an have a blessed day
Was it Crazy Lamp Lady?
Tim from Over the Years also does glass
It is a him. Over The Years. He is on the Reseller Information Network and has his own channel as well.
No but she has helped me before as well and is extremely knowedgable.
Thank y'all for the help
We get things moving! Love watching g you and learning from you!
For the past few months, all Military type gear and clothing has been selling, don't know how I feel about the uptick of sales in this category. I get things moving! Congrats on the new member of the family and stay blessed!
Hunting season.
We get things moving. Thanks for all your advice. You're my favorite eBay reseller TH-camr!
I appreciate that!
Thanks Kevin for keeping it real. Glad to know things I’m selling will still sell. We get things moving!!
We get things moving! I just purchased an armful of nice bags including a Vera at a church rummage sale. They should do well.
I am slowly swapping over all of my inventory to video games, thats my speciality and always will be.
We get things moving. I love the content. Hope the family is doing well.
I don’t think it’s safe to say that any category is “ruined” or “dead”. It’s all about the data. It’s so easy to check sold comps or sell thru rates on the fly. Also, I’m willing to accept lower margins on categories that are easier to process and ship, as long as they sell. So, I’ll continue to pick up things like hats and shirts if they are new / like new, and have good sales data. While I would love to make $50+ per sale, I’m OK with selling the $10 profit items, as long as they are easy to list and ship.
Anytime I hear a seller whine and say that they won’t sell in X category anymore I think “excellent, one less low effort seller which will clean up the marketplace”.
Love the videos! Great family and welcome to your new addition. We get things moving!!
Dibdit definitely helped with the items we sell and like to look for, personally I didn’t think I would ever do live shows but it’s been a blast!
Awesome. I hope you keep at it as we try to keep growing the audience.
We get thing moving...
Had a Great P3 (best quarter since I started selling 3 years ago), hoping for an even better P4!
Thanks Kevin for all of your videos. I learn something new from every one...
You’re absolutely right Kevin this has always been the case where stuff goes up and down in popularity and price !! Dibdit member here too tote bag please!
We get things moving
Thanks for all of the help you have given me with your videos.
Excel-Ron
Welcome new kitty! (hello Noname!) The siamese looks like a mixed breed, or else a proper Siamese cat from Thailand. I'd call the breed Love Bug or Lap Rat, but he or she is a flame point for sure.
Just picked up one of the DibDit Ikea bags during a live from you. Everything arrived today. Looks great.
I bought the N64 thanks it arrived in great condition. If you find any games for it besides what came with it im interested depending on what they are.
I don’t pick up magazines or pictures anymore unless something is really special about them. Postcards really slowed in last few years.
I’ve been getting back into reselling the last few months. I really enjoy your videos. We get things moving
Media isn't dead. Some of eBay's largest sellers are in media. I strictly sell media and will eventually be doing this full-time. Generally, speaking media sellers are a volume business. Just doing this part time, I've had 1150 sales so far this year and am currently up 39.3% over the previous year. I currently only do this part-time. Generally speaking media is dirt cheap to get and there are many items in this category that can go for a fortune! I've sold individual CDs that I paid $1 for over $300+. I'm a member of various Facebook CD collector groups with thousands of other people. Again, media isn't dead!
I agree
Media is definitely not dead, I also sell mostly physical media... but it is definitely an expert category now. Most printed books are literally garbage (and most CDs and DVDs are worth so little they are unsellable online), it takes knowledge and experience to find valuable items and make money doing it. On the bright side, if you know how to identify sellable media, it is SO EASY to photograph/scan, list, pack and ship, versus clothing or electronics. It is cheap(er) to ship too thanks to media mail.
Things are slow but moving. Thanks for the videos, we get things moving!!!
We get things moving! I sell necessities ( clothing and shoes) plus wall art, dishes and costumes patterns for example…list it all
Kevin, what are your thoughts on vintage tupperware? I recently got a storage unit with new and used tupperware, she was a tupperware rep. She had vintage Disney tupperware and really neat stuff!
A labor of love
@commonwealthflipper lol definitely There are definitely unique pieces i can't find nowhere.
original vinyl. my old cassettes were doing good 1 year ago, now i see surge in cds, vintage costume jewelery pins do good.
Clothing is definitely not dead. Vintage is very hot.
We get things moving. I've noticed the new Arcade sign for awhile now, where did you ever find that!? Just as cool as the Nintendo sign.
We get things moving! Hello to you and your family
I am doing the best with clothing I just opened a 2nd store for clothing only and am using that store to experiment. Its not a store and Ebay gave me 3700 listings!
Right now I have under 100 and am selling things every week. I said I never would do it again but its been fun. I just put a few listings a week on there.
get things moving --- thank you Kevin, I enjoy your channels
Siamese are AWESOME!!!!
I am always amazed at what sells.
Sophie sent you a new pal because she doesn't want you to be sad
We get things moving! You're right on the money Kevin, discipline and flexibility go a long way in reselling. I still pick up clothing but winners only. I'm also always trying to learn new categories. Take Care
we get things moving - never miss a video
We get things moving. I learn so much from your videos, I rewatch them over and over again. Thank you for all the help and knowledge.
We get things moving. Could use all the help I can get to make that statement true lately.
We get things moving! I watch every video but don’t comment much. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Best of luck in Q4!
Get things moving. I would love the ornament. Love your videos.
love your videos, keep things movin!!
We get things moving. Love your episodes.
I think people build a narrative that categories are dead, however they dont think about things that are in their control, just as better pictures, listings, pricing. You get what you put into it.
Flame Point Siamese are the BEST!!!!!!!!!
Great show. I have a white cat just like that one that adopted us. Didn't know what breed she was, thought just a mutt. lol
I sold a build a bear for $200 a couple years ago. It was a vampire wearwolf mix plush. Paid a quarter
We get things moving. Love your videos.
Media is hands down my favorite thing to sell!!!
My opinion on the vinyl. I see many pickers on TH-cam who don't know the bands and pick up some good ones and leave some they think won't sell. I won't give my age but my era had the best bands the best hair and the best cars LOL. I was lucky enough to see some of the greatest bands in the world. I was buying concert shirts for fifty cents at my local swap meet. Many of which I still have. I understand you don't have to know or like the music to buy the music or shirts. But it doesn't hurt to have a better understanding. Rock stars that are in their 70's means many of their fans are also that age. That age group is downsizing and not buying to much to "collect". Keep that in mind when sourcing they may not know how valuable some of their music can be. I like going to sales at Mobile parks that are 55+ or older. Peace
"We get things moving"
Great video!
Glad yours are selling but I have all of this lised and base priced and none selling or getting views and it's not my pictures just smaller sellers struggling
Do you think ebay favors the larger sellers? If so what do you consider large.
@commonwealthflipper no but I do think when you make a large sale they slow you way down. After I sell a item over 100 dollars seems like my site just stops . Have squish mellow and hats at base prices and they just don't move . B ut I will see other items other sellers have going at higher prices. Not sure what the answer is but I just keep listening adjusting and pushing forward just trying to survive till I return to work at law enforcement. But ebay not helping me out with their algorithm lol. Be safe and pray for us down here in hurricane ally. 2010softaillady
We get things moving! Great episode
Things will sell in “dead” categories, but it means that you have a put more effort into it. A used misshapen hat in need of cleaning could still sell with ease for decent money, but now it seems that condition affects the price much more than it used to.
We get things moving 🎄
Beautiful cat Reagan! I couldn't hear much because our little Minnie Mouse likes to bark like crazy at your pets. Lol Does she have a name yet?
It's down to Blue, Sparky or Bruce. I like Willie but nobody else does.
Dibdit :). And I think Sophie sent that sweet kitty to your family! 💙
Cat distribution system is working nicely, I see 😂 congrats on being adopted by such a sweet kitten
lol
We get things moving! Sweet little kitty!
Dibdit....watch all your vids and am member on Dibdit, would love the bag for picking!
Saw a jack for sale at a flea market. They wanted $44 just for Jack!
I'm just a part time seller and I've sold over $9k in hats this year so definitely not dead, just gotta realize people may not wanna pay as much as in the past so just buy smarter, people will buy them.
I just sold a 1988 tmnt plush NWT for $99.99 today. Sold a chuckee cheese plush earlier this year for $299.99. Not all plush is dead! I think I had $25 invested in the pair.
Love your videos . We get things moving.
Great video Kevin, thanks!👍🙂
Yet you are selling them all! LOL!! Thanks for the video Kevin!
Love your videos, you show us it’s ALL possible 😊
I hope hats still sell i just bought a VTG mesh trucker Mack truck hat yesterday
I’m a member of Didbit.Would love to have a bag.
Hope we get things moving.
We get things moving.
Great video!
You crack me up! I wonder how many comments you'll get from people who don't know your sense of humor or didn't watch far enough to get the joke. I've sold in most of those categories recently as well. Low sell through rate items in every category are hard to sell, and there are always exceptions to each category. But, I will say most things sell eventually. We just changed our our garbage disposal, and this week I sold a bunch of the trim parts. When in doubt... I still love the surprise of discovering new categories and items after all these years. The treasure hunt goes on. Thanks for another fun video. Dibdit :)
we get things moving! cat has similar colors to sophie................. meant to be, RIP Sophie
Hey Kevin I just had an idea to run by you. I am in one of the disaster zones in NC. I have kept selling when cell service would popup but a week without power or much cell service has killed my sales with the algorithm. With the damage it’s also limited sourcing. Is there any chance you could do just a short video sharing the eBay stores in the affected area? In case you like the idea mine is Fortunate Pickups
Can you send me an email about this. Maybe we can do something
@@commonwealthflipper I’m going out to volunteer but I can when I get back home
Oh man I'd love to have that Dibdit bag... I need an AM extra large bag for my Wednesday church sale I go to every week. Also I sold a huge lot of old school country cassettes. 115 of them for $55. Sold after only being listed for 2days. Also sold 2- 2pac cassettes for $75. So media isn't dead!
Congratulations on the new cat. Never really was a cat person but somehow ended up with 2.
You need to explain your inventory system. How do you keep track? 😅
Only been selling for about 2 years, still learning what sells and want doesn't. Did sell a Harley coffee mug today, which was one of my 1st purchase, so listed over a year. I did have the shipping way high for some reason, that was probably the problem.
Thanks for the vid!
I don't really have one other than I put items in like places. ie.. All plush goes here. All jeans here all home goods here etc.
I don't think those categories are dead. It may be just a slowdown in buying due to the economy. As for clothing, people are buying what they need, and may be thinking out online due to the new fee implemented on buyers by poshmark & Mercari. in my area I am seeing people buying clothing in brick & mortar stores on clearance & sale days.
Get things moving 😊 Enjoy your channel
No sir... definitely not a matching mug set! CLEARLY the second one didn't feature the dead bug! lol 😂
Biggest hit are graded comics. I have seen 80 to 90% hit in many of cases.
My glass and ceramics have slowed way down.
I found one of those Bluetooth wireless listening systems for a buck and sold mine for 84.99. definitely one to watch for. 😊
Hope we get things moving..
Good morning Kevin 😊
Clothing is dead. Even new with tag. Its frustrating to see it just hanging there. It is just a sign of the days we are living in. People are spending money on necessities.
I sell a ton of clothing everyday on eBay
I just sold clothes this morning... New clothes with tags under armour and Nike.... I think it's just the luck of the draw... People still need clothes... And they want them... For many people it's a pleasure... It's not just a necessity... It's like selling a purse or wallet... I still sell Vera Wang and coach and Kate Spade.. those aren't necessary but they bring a little Joy and that's something people are seeking in this time .
Wow, just reading these responses. Can anyone not be polite. Just my opinion, we don't sell funko pops or coffee mugs. This is not my store name either. My daughter & I don't need your negativity and we sell quite a bit of other things. Never mind, I am unfollowing & won't respond anymore. Have a Blessed life.
Are coats and jackets considered clothing? Bc I can't even keep enough in rn they're flying
@mis7089
3 million shirts have sold on eBay in the last 90 days.
Great sales 👍🏻 ... Jayne 🇬🇧
We get things moving for ya!
