I thank you, Dr. Goldson and your School Staff in deciding to continue online classrooms in the fall. I am an 78 year old substitute teacher in PGCPS with 2 elementary school great grandchildren living with me with health issues. I want them to be well educated but I want them to be safe from the virus. Thank you. We will do well. LilyAnn Brown
I think this hybrid approach of distance learning is the most prudent and I applaud the administration for putting the well being of our children and our families as the highest priority. I fully support this decision. Yes, it requires us parents to take on a greater role and more responsibility in our children's education but it's a good trade-off for the health and well being of our kids. Thank you
Schools who have attempted this hybrid schooling have closed based on covid cases. My child going back to school endangers my life as a single mother.
The SCIENCE says kids need and should be in school! Your ignorance encourages and perpetuates the worthlessness of the pg school system. The people who supply you food have families too but yet they have been working the entire time. Teachers need to go back to work or lose their jobs! Cause i guarantee you when they want a raise they will be quick to claim they are essential workers. But when the time to show and prove arises they're sitting on their sofa with fuzzy slippers on pretending to educate our kids

So let me get this straight. You want us to go back to school, during a pandemic. In where hundreds of students are bunched up together and could possibly get sick, is that what you want? Do you really want kids to go to the hospital?
