I've actually been there before in winter time and I arrived there around 8 PM local time. Though there were no lights or whatsoever that iluminates the scenery, but you could still see the silhouettes of the gigantic mountains right infront of your eyes as you disembark the train. Believe me the view from this video is absolutely nothing compared to if you really go there and see it with your own naked eyes. Its not just beautiful, its majestic!

I was actually in the same area a few weeks earlier, but didn't get a chance to take the train. Seeing this video is absolutely beautiful, and brings back those memories. Easily my favourite place I visited on my trip
I arrived in Interlaken to catch this train to Grindelwald on a wet and rainy day and every mountain was behind a cloud. I did some shopping, visited the many chocolate shops and watch places, wandered around the gardens and then before hopping on this train the clouds began to clear. Seeing the mountains emerge from the clouds, they almost didn't look real, more like they were floating. Rivers in colours that aren't anywhere else, mountains that float, and the freshest air ever. There's nowhere like Switzerland.

Excellent to see you here! I hope you have/had a chance to try the ferry/cruise ships on the baltic sea. The big ones between Helsinki and Stockholm can be quite fun as they are a bit longer trips and plenty of entertainment and food options. Many of the other ones are quite interesting too. The trains are often great for seeing the sights all over the place as well.

The train runs incredibly fast and smoothly for a narrow gauge railway. Swiss technology is really superb!

I am feeling homesick for Europe now. I grew up there and spent a lot of time in Switzerland. Such a beautiful country.

I took this train in May this year, Grindelwald is lovely but the whole area is spectacular.
