I did replace as per your instruction. For some reason the swipe (touch screen) do not work anymore after few days. It was working at the initial LCD replacement. Then I did replace the LCD with another one brand new, same issue, the display is OK, but swipe not work. I believe is some phone connector, any idea?

Why do you have to open the main part to detach battery flex plug to turn off the phone, can't you just use the power button to turn off when you accidentally turned it on

its a good tips actually because, some phone that have total blackscreen or touch screen that doesn't work cannot turn off their phone in normal way hence the only way to turn off the screen is by unplugged the battery

You can try and resolder it. There are 2 tiny contacts. You have to be very skilled. Or you can buy a new flex for 5$.
