      If you just received a 25 year prison sentence for the crime that she did, you would probably ask those same questions. She was asking her father if the lawyers said anything about those two topics -- perfectly legitimate questions, and her father let her know the reality. But people slam her regardless. Neither she or anyone in her family could do or say anything right according to most comments under these jail call videos, but those comments say more about the people (or AIBOTS) leaving them than they do about Jamie and her family.

      @Truth17John17 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      How is she acting like a victim? If you were in her shoes, what would you say/do differently? She is merely asking her father what her attorneys said about two issues that -- had you just been sentenced to the longest possible prison term -- you would also want to know. There is nothing wrong with what Jamie is asking here -- they are perfectly legitimate questions. She isn't making demands, she isn't saying, "It's not fair!" She is merely inquiring what her chanced are for those two issues. If I was in her shoes, I would want to know the answers to those questions and so would you. In your eyes, Jamie could never say or do anything right.

    I’m shocked, This 27 year old woman that acts and behaves like a spoiled teenager still doesn’t understand the magnitude of what she did. Not even after listening to Samantha’s family and the rest of the victims. She killed a human being!! and she altered, forever changed the lives of many more people permanently. The only thing she wants is to get out and as I suspected in the first calls she was playing a character, she is not sorry. I will be mortified and not able to live a normal life never again if was in her shoes, the guilt and culpability will kill me inside every day. I hope her dad doesn’t get to paid her way out again.

      She's her father's child.
      Remember when she whined, "Why's this happening to ME?" and Daddy-O responded with "Bad things happen to good people .....and you're a good person."
      When a person has a parent like that, no one should be surprised when they turn out to be spoiled, whiney adults filled with entitlement with no sense that they should be held accountable for anything.

    • @Hardhat74
      @Hardhat74 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      I don't know, she fkd up bad, and committed a horrible crime. I don't think that she set out to kill anyone, she made a bad choice to drive, and unfortunately caused irreparable damage. That said, she behaves like a child, but there's no doubt in my mind that she's about to grow up really fast the hard way. 25 years is a long time, she'll eventually understand the severity of her actions.

      She hasn’t accepted her sentence at all. The first thing she thought was about parole and getting out early (whether it be good behavior or just the public forgetting) she thought her lawyers would be just as shocked as she was and fight all over again. Even her dad has to be like girl come on you just got in there and it’s time to sit pretty. Also she pled guilty last minute which makes all the shock from her even more confusing

      That said, something is still 'off' in this call and the others after sentencing because Jamie and her parents would have already discussed these matters with her attorneys ad nauseam. The father's attitude is very different ..... They know these calls are being recorded and published.

      Sorry but he’s a huge enabler, that’s very easy to see. Idk if you’ve listened to all the other phone calls but that’s the reason why people have a problem with him. Especially when she threw her temper tantrum saying “why did this have to happen to me!” when she first went to jail, literally a few weeks after she killed one and injured 4, her dads response was “cause bad things happen to good people”. I have kids and I would NOT have said that! I would’ve told them “it happened to you cause you made a very stupid decision knowing what could happen and still chose to do it, that’s why it happened to you. I know it’s frustrating but you need to take accountability for your actions!” A good parent would said something along those lines, an enabler would say exactly what he said!

    I have a comment on an 11 month old video of Jamie. I commented on Jamie not having any remorse amongst other things The Jamie fan club members say, Jamie was not allowed to speak of her case. The case is over, sentencing was delivered and I’m not hearing remorse or accountability. Where is her remorse and accountability for the victims?
    Accountability should sound a little like this, imo…. I should not have driven that night and what I did was wrong. My actions took an innocent life and for that I’m sorry. It’s my time to pay for the consequences of my actions.
    Instead of we hear, what did the attorney’s say? (Expecting an early parole) Asking for $75 for another inmate who is obviously taking advantage of Jamie’s father’s kindness and generosity. If only Jamie could show compassion to the victims in the same manner, she shows a fellow inmate.
    Jamie has no idea how lucky she is having parents that love her dearly because if she understood she would understand how the victim’s parents and husband feel.

      It's been how long since this occurred? Over a year? How many times do you think Jamie and her family have discussed the things you claim they NEVER said....? At this point, Jamie has some questions about the appeals process and probation. She and her family know these calls are recorded and are going out to the public. This call even sounds rehearsed to me. Something about it doesn't sound natural because her father isn't very encouraging -- just matter of fact. But it doesn't matter. Jamie and her family are d***ed if they do and d***ed if they don't. They will never be able to say or do one thing right in the eyes of those who feel it is their place to judge and condemn.

      @@TravelRNCCRN Yes, she' sober but she's still an alcoholic. How much of her time is spent thinking about having a drink, and how much of her time is spent thinking about her victim? I would guess 98% of her time she is thinking about alcohol. Just because she isn't drinking now.. because she's in prison.. doesn't mean that she's not still an alcoholic. I'm sure she would love to have a few strong drinks right now and I'm sure she's not thinking about her victim. That will take a few years. She won't ever be paroled until she can admit what she did was wrong and why it was wrong and what she's done to help herself while in prison, but that won't be for another 20 years or so.

    I understand her being scared and sharing that with her dad. He reminds me of my own dad. Our babies are always our babies. It will take her a bit to reach the acceptance phase. I got locked up once for similar. But by the grace of God my victim survived. 20 years later- a few months ago, i spoke with my victim on social media and he said he forgave me a long time ago. But the point im trying to make is that my sentence was only 6 months and when i first heard that door bang and clank locked behind me i hyperventilated. It took me about a week to adjust. For a 25 year sentence i couldnt imagine.

      I am glad the victim survived and you have accepted responsibility for your actions. And you have made a life for the better for yourself and your family. This girl has a ways to go, she really has not accepted responsibility, only did it court in hopes to get a light sentence. When she had to read word for word what she wanted to say, you definitely realized it wasn't coming from her heart. She certainly has a immature attitude, but she has a lot of time now to grow up and maybe reflect on what she truly did. I hope you continue on your great path you have chosen and congratulations for all your efforts.
