Most of our HD trucks are NB2 heavy vehicles above 4495kg. This allows for different modifications to be done with slightly larger lifts and tyres also.
With the lift kit and bar of this type it will do well. The main concern is protecting intercooler etc in the front end and the winch cradle on these are super strong. Putting it simply, pretty much any decent animal strike will result in an insurance claim no matter the bar, it’s about still being able to continue safely and dealing with a cracked headlight / panel damage once the trip is finished. These trucks are quiet high off the ground and we have seen a number of kangaroo hits with no damage to the truck. However if we hit one of the massive Eastern grey roo's that may be another thing all together and a hoop would of course give it even more protection.

Just a thought, can you add weights with these builds? On my F250 it's cutting it very fine to stay under the 4500kg when towing (ball weight) 👍🏼
