Cuda is awesome. Meat is very clean and white! Thanks for doing a video Ray! I like em deep fried!
Chef Eddie! Great chef and commentary he's natural in front of the camera. Ive always thrown cudas and bonito back but this looks great to try
Definitely gotta give this a try, so many people throw them back but they are some of the best eating year around fish we have when taken proper care of
Enjoyed learning another way to make something tasty!! Keep it up guys!
Thank you, we’re always happy to share our adventures and recipes! Glad you enjoyed this
🍺 Cheers! Great tip on the oil heat. My mom taught me that one with a piece of tortilla. And yeah too many people treat cuda as trash and don't give it a chance. Even bonita makes good poke if you take care of the meat 🤙
Yeah for sure, bonito makes great poke, sashimi, ceviche, and cooks up really well pan fried
Make a vid on the pink sauce plz! Good job guys
We’ll definitely do that soon! Hopefully in the next week or so, I can get a video of the pink sauce up!
Great video Ray and Eddie love your recipe I too have seen it on sport boats most people frown on cudda but yes if u bleed them and put them on ice cook them that night cut the red out there great try soaking them in Italian dressing for a few hours then grill super good
Seriously some of the best! And Oooo we’ll definitely have to give that a try some time, thanks for the recommendation!
Chef Eddie with another masterpiece!
@@Dirty.Hookers I wish I saw this earlier I gave away my cuda today not wanting to eat it
Is that you in the cover of western outdoor news? If it is congratulations.
Man! Barracudas are sooo underrated! You're right, they are slimy and smelly but sooo fun to catch on the irons. Also they are great eating. I make fish tacos with them ALL the time and I always have some sealed up in my freezer! Nice video Ray! Was that at SCI?
Thanks
Thanks brotha, and hell yeah I agree. Such underrated fish for sure. Super fun to target and make for amazing taco meat!
And yeah this was SCI a few weeks ago.
Man that looks bomb I was out at catalina yesterday and was hoping to catch a cuda or a yellowtail to cook up tonight but the day was cut short cuz the boat was having engine problems but next trip I'm trying cuda tacos for sure
Ahh that’s a bummer. Yeah next time for sure, if you get to catch some cudas definitely gotta try it!
Those Saltigas are butter huh? I love me some Gar on French bread 😜👍
How do you make the mango salsa?
I’ll try to do a video on that soon, pink sauce included.
But Chef Eddie talks about how he made the mango pico at 7:00. Store bought from vons and added a few more ingredients to spice it up
did you go outta ventura? we been on the cuda for a minute
Yeah out of Channel Islands on the cobra. Been dying to get back out there and do some more cuda fishing! You work on one of the boats?
Heat oil to 350. Keep it there 😉
That’s it! We just don’t have a temp gage, so this is the next best method to know when it’s at the right temp
@@Dirty.Hookers I was having the same trouble and broke down and spent the couple bucks on Amazon lol. If money ain't going towards gear it's hard to part with 😂
@@irishred3032 so true lol. I’m only okay with spending money on fishing stuff I don’t need, but anything else I really don’t wanna spend the money haha
Need some sauce
Got the pink sauce on there! Hopefully soon we can put together a video on how to make it
ρяσмσѕм 😂
3 Dirty Hooker videos in 2 days? I must be dreaming 🤩😍
Lol, just trying to keep up with my footage! Hopefully can keep posting this often
Nope… not a fan of Barry. Fun to catch though
Yeah, most people aren’t.
But if you ever feel like giving it another try - properly bleed, thrown right on ice, cooked within 48 hours, amazing taco meat!
I was on Cobra yesterday firstime catching barracuda. Fishing around channel island and found your recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Fish on. Fish on. 🤙🎣🤙
