Recently discovered your music from an album recommendation TikTok; holy fuck, this is so refreshing to hear a unique blend of sound. Ironically I was doing the dishes when this first song came on lmao
This is the track / double track I've replayed the most from this album. The saxophone interlude hits me every time and the transition to the next equally much. It's like an anthem for something I still don't know what is, but I whatever it is, I want to take part in it.
where did that notion come from? did i talk about the meaning behind this song in public yet?! yes, it is exactly like getting tapped on the shoulder. searching & crawling & straining to find the complicated, laborious path, becoming tired & discouraged....& then, tap tap tap. or in this case, in this metaphor, the pleasant sound of a doorbell (3:18, 3:25, 3:31). this nudge is nothing that compromises freewill. it's just a soft reminder from behind the veil that liberation is right here, right now. because liberation IS precisely the here & the now, objectified. manifested. experienced. embodied.
Holy fuck. Context: I recently listened to the latest clipping remxng project, and I utterly detested it, except for the track you remixed, I found it REEEEEEEALLY fucking interesting, so I left it in the back burner to look for your own music later. This is insane. Unbelievable. Describing this would be a disservice. "genre bending" my ass. I do find your sound very adjacent to my favorite musician ever, Machine Girl, but oh man this is sublime.
thanks so much for the compliment! i do enjoy a lot of those remixes, but i respect your opinion. machine girl is fucking amazing & they are buds of mine. they did a remix for me. go to my *other* bandcamp account (fire-toolz-other.bandcamp.com) and check out the fire-toolz/nonlocal forecast remix album, and you'll find their remix there.
@@Fire-Toolz Yeah I'm not trying to discredit the other remixes on the release you were featured, I simply didn't vibe with them at all (has to be noted that I LOVE Rian Treanor). AND OH SHOOT! I am so gonna listen to that MG-Fire-Toolz thing as soon as I can. Regardless, much love, you just got a new fan and a follower, keep on doing undescribable things you wonderful human!
@@Fire-Toolz Somehow it's really funny to me that if my postman is a reincarnation of me, and the artists making the tapes are reincarnations of me, I'm very good at liking my own music. But once I (this particular me) start producing music, I instantly snap into imposter syndrome..
HAHAHA yes it honestly is! but it's kind of a sarcastic line, because obviously that's not all you're paying for. i think TM is absolutely wonderful. however over the years there are some things about the TM org that have really gone down hill. it's just way too expensive now. but it kinda needs to be considering all of the overhead. i do a type of meditation that is based on TM called NSR. if you are interested in a fantastic alternative to TM, head over to nsrusa.org. the only thing you'll be paying for is a little manual & a CD that you only need to listen to once or twice. it's run by a former TM teacher. ;)
this helped me finally shed my corporeal form and become a gaseous cloud
this helped me pass gas
mimetic cycles turning softness into the dark, chaos becoming lessons showing their inner workings
