River caves has had alot of changes done to it too. Lighting changes, all the mist working, new scene at the start. Really nice to see upgrades made to classic ride

Have the stopped the speedy pass thing for the big one? That's good! Although I've been very fortunate when visiting park is always quiet! Compared to what in 1996 i waited about 4hours to get on it, my poor mum and dad 😂

We were two people from getting onto the big one at half four but they stopped the ride due to winds so we ended up having to get off :( but best one about season pass, I can try again!

Did the re-tracked Big One section feel any different? Really disappointed about what happened at the end of the day on Icon. What a waste of an hour queueing.
CrashCoaster It’s more about sustaining the future of the Big One than anything else, but it was definitely noticeable smoother. Today was frustrating, ride op’s handled it well but their superior didn’t.

Mike Thompson Safety reasons, we have ones for a lot of the rides now which are done with the supervision of members of the PR team but it has to be that way to ensure that the equipment used is safe

We had 2 brilliant days at the park, first time season pass holders and my daughters first go on a thrill ride. She is only 5 but just tall enough to get on the avalanche and she loved it so much she dragged me on it another 2 times. I was also fortunate to be one of the first in line for infusion this morning and managed to get back to back rides as it was quiet
So admittedly I haven’t been in years and am only halfway through the video but hearing the log flume is the feature water ride for Blackpool makes me need to ask about river caves is it still there and still running?
Starting to regret not coming this year, somehow the weather makes the day look a lot more enjoyable. I hope I can get to opening weekend next year, and honestly I'd be happy with rain as long as it doesn't affect the ride lineup.
Deflector BPB were very keen to avoid a repeat of 2019 and they’ve done fantastically, but to be honest opening weekends do usually pass by pretty well.

They only tend to have one train set up with wheel compounds, and two with intermediate/slow compounds.

We had 2 brilliant days at the park, first time season pass holders and my daughters first go on a thrill ride. She is only 5 but just tall enough to get on the avalanche and she loved it so much she dragged me on it another 2 times. I was also fortunate to be one of the first in line for infusion this morning and managed to get back to back rides as it was quiet

So admittedly I haven’t been in years and am only halfway through the video but hearing the log flume is the feature water ride for Blackpool makes me need to ask about river caves is it still there and still running?
sylvia Yeah, it’s still there although admittedly looking a bit tired. My comment was in reference to Valhalla being closed for 2020.
Starting to regret not coming this year, somehow the weather makes the day look a lot more enjoyable.
I hope I can get to opening weekend next year, and honestly I'd be happy with rain as long as it doesn't affect the ride lineup.
Deflector BPB were very keen to avoid a repeat of 2019 and they’ve done fantastically, but to be honest opening weekends do usually pass by pretty well.
