I've been actually looking at one of these for doing some video work. Now that I got a better visual point of reference it's definitely going on my wish list
@@martinohesse he said a 7.5mm lens on an APS-C sensor. The crop factor on an APS-C will 1000% crop a 7.5mm lens meant for a full frame camera. The field of view would be very close to,if not equivalent ,to the field of view that you’d have on an 11.5mm lens on a full frame sensor.
It would be very nice if we could see just a normal shot versus two angled spinning shots and be able to compare how it looks to other normal lenses I don't know just face it at a building for a few seconds without moving it
My introduction to fish eye lenses was when someone filming on 9/11 decided to swap out from their standard lenses to fish eye while the tower came down. It was nuts!

Are you sure it isn't just the Cu part of Curl, sounding almost like it the German family name spelled Meinke, but with the letter N lost in the Chinese version?

Lol right, id at least let it slide if he said May-KEE , but my-key had me dead lol. Or even Maker which is an existing word and is again close enough.
Just to be clear, these specialist lenses don't have AF because 1. it's cheaper to not have AF Motors and 2. It's simpler to learn how to operate the lens instead of worrying about how the ridic angle is ever going to work with the AF systems in the camera.
talking about the lens? I wanna se it you had 9 shots of the lens but only 2 shots of the actuall footage lmao. like one shot was one of you walking lmao bro put that 7mm in a building or at least coffeeshop.put it in the bathroom and the mirror or close spaces so I can tell
I use their 25mm F1.8 (50mm equivalent on my M4/3 sensor) manual focus lens and its a great little lens for the money. Going manual focus is a great way to save money on gear if you’re starting out or you’re on a budget ☺️
This lens is only $149 USD! Pick It up here: amzn.to/42Hhrc7
no way bro said "only"
Have you shopped for lenses recently? 🤨 I dare you to find a lens with the same capabilities for less money!
@@VENUDIA0$149 is barely any money for a new lens. So only $149 is a sensible way to put it

7.5mm in APS-C. It’s a 11.5mm focal length FF equivalent.
It's always 7.5 mm, the distance does not change.

Omg i love how i can see the aov of the lens on these shorts. Amazing
Those shots were really cool!

I'm about to buy a 135mm f2.8 from minolta 💀💀💀
we have no money
Let’s go! Fx30 gang brother 🎞️🎞️💫💫
Love to see it! 🙌
A7IV
Which Gimball did you use btw?
I bought this thing and I love it
Fisheye lenses (named for the protruding glass) are not just for effect . They are for whenever you need to photograph or film an entire room .
How did you got the flowers shot it is amazing. Is there an HDR mode in the Fx30. It was simply wow .
Thanks! No HDR just color grading and correct exposure is all 👍

If I HAVE to try it could you buy one for me? Awesome! thanks
Would it work with a Sony zv-e10 camera?
YES!! 🙌
Also known as the Busta Rhymes Music Video lens... IYKYK
Outrageous!
美科:Mikey😂
Now i have to buy a camera 💀
I got this lens with my 6300 for free essentially 😂 haven’t used it properly yet but it looks fun
When I use a fish I lend everything looks like a golf ball rounded like. Straight lines don't look straight with a Fish eye lens. they look curved
Is this lens compatible on a ZV-E10?
Yes it is! 👍
One of those shots was in downtown Provo right?

This video is in the Amazon product page lol
I was NOT aware of that… I’m going to have to have a chat with them about that. Thanks for letting me know
Call this the Terrence Malick lens.
This lens is so wide that focussing is probably not needed in most situations

Can this be used on a canon rebel?
What gimbal is that?
AYE MIKEY!
do you think this is better or the 4mm fisheye from artisans?
Wait if u use gimbal how to focus on it, no auto focus right?
Def doesn’t have 190 degrees angle with lens hood on it
I have this lens, the hood is invisible on APSC not sure about full frame though.
What is the gimbal that you used please?
does it fit on full frame cameras??
the sony a7c specifically haha
It is an APS-C lens
So it will not fit the A7C unfortunately
It will fit but you'll be using crop mode on a7c
I have a Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG fisheye which cover full frame and it has auto focus it is a really nice lens but a bit old
190 degree fov?
Does this lens work with the Sony a7ii mirrorless?
strong bad
in short, you'll use it once then thats it
Yeah, not the most practical lens
Or you'll use it all the time if you're filming skateboarding.
Hmmmm interesting.
What camera and gimball you use bro?
FX30 and the Zhiyun M3S
Gotta love some urban videography in downtown Provo. 😁
All my stuff is in Utah.
👀
Would probably only look cool on fullframe??
Does it work with a BLACK MAGIC 6k
Aren’t those mainly for video though?
so it has 380° view?
Now a days distortion is impressive 😅😅😂😂
Who's mikey?
this vs the samyang/rokonin lens?
What camera is that?
The Sony FX30
What is that stick you use?
The one around 0:12? That is a gimbal for stabilization. You can get one for cameras or mobile phones.
Yep….that’s a fisheye….
Vintage lens feel 😂
