I am. I have voiced this exact sentiment since I overstood what drafting entails here in the states. I'm with you on this; wholeheartedly. Being forced into war by a country who claims, we the people, have freedom. Where is the freedom if males are being forced to sign up for the draft?

The military does provide that. These people act like in the past, all these 18 year olds were ready for war. No, they weren't they needed to be conditioned first. 90% of the military is preparation, only about 10% is actually fighting.

Just speaking as a person who did serve in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and now has an 18 year old kid.... These kids are not gonna be taken seriously. Right or wrong, the younger generation has a soft stigma, and every generation going back has said the same about the next one coming up.

In Times of war, the military drops their enlistment standards and will give young men the option to join the military instead of going to jail. That’s what that lady was saying with the stop and frisk policies…. instead of getting a few years for whatever petty stuff they put on them they will have the option to join the military for four years and get off with a clean record. They did this after 911 when they need more recruits for Afghanistan. I definitely understood what she was saying yall should double back and look into that
