    Never thought we'd get physical comedy in a podcast.

    Grey messing around with the recording is my favourite part of every single episode

    First, Grey is featured on Obsidian's website.
    Second, I'm worried because I genuinely feel like Grey's Obsidian set up is my ideal writing situation for if I decide to do a PhD thesis. The way he takes notes and rearranges the "flashcards" to make the paragraphs is literally how I finished my Master's thesis. Except I had to do it in MS Word and Excel. However, I can't use Obsidian with other people but for my next academic loner project, this is probably it.
    I have never met someone else that seems to work so similarly to me except for Grey from what I have learned on Cortex and catching up on from Hello Internet. It's frightening but it tickles my brain in such a happy way.

      Curious if you have the URL. I did a cursory search but wasn't able to find it.

    The day either one of you is suddenly yoinked out of the Apple ecosystem is going to be a small disaster. As someone completely outside of that marketplace, this podcast feels like it's coming from an entirely alternate dimension.

      I was in the Apple ecosystem and this helped me a lot to get new worthy apps, now that I moved on to Android (best decision I made haha) I need to look up other sources (mainly asking on reddit about open-source app I want)

    I wish we could see in the video the screens they are talking about... (I know there are screenshots in the podcast notes but that would be great to have them pointing at the different parts of the screens...)

    The shortcut that saves me the most time is a shortcut I press when waking up or going to sleep. It shuts down all the iPhone´s connectivity, puts a certain focus and the battery saver on. Because my battery lasts me 2 days it´s the best thing ever.

    Can someone link to the photo they were discussing of something that looks pretty but stymies productivity?

    I've been watching this podcast for 15 minutes and already hit 4 ad breaks with 2 ads each. Every ad break came mid-sentence. When sentences are getting cut off every 3-4 minutes, for a 1-2-minute ad break, it's just not watchable. TH-cam advertising is out of control

      I downloaded it using Podcast Addict on my phone and am going to pause the TH-cam version, thanks.

    Someone should make this app
    You could steal the idea I don’t care
    The app is we’re people could see where other people are at but autonomously and only when there is ten people or more with the app near by each other this is so you could see which popular social events are going on at different areas of the world.

      snapchat maps kinda does that? they have a heat map based upon public location based stories … pretty different from what you’re talking about, but that’s the first thing i thought of

    Don't you feel uncomfortable knowing that your Apple devices tell Apple every time you open an app? I do not consent to being a part of a massive experiment monitoring who does what at what time and how often so I am currently trying to sell all my apple devices and switch to open source OS.

    • @juniormatsuda5116
      @juniormatsuda5116 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Which open source OS for your phone?

    • @HululusLabs
      @HululusLabs 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@juniormatsuda5116 there are quite a few android-based ones, and/or things like Pine Phone, etc. Not recommended for anyone to casually switch to those though
