Very nicely explained video. Although I stopped the red wire and yellow wire around to get the break force light to work properly
I'm glad u made this video I was just about to order one 2 but now I see ur video I said f that lol great job bro
Yeah I was not going to remove the rear bumper for it way too much work. Carbon itself is nice but fit and finish could be better. Thanks bro
i bought the same, but i have wired it just like you but the flashes only works when i have my ignition on, when i start the car i dosent work anymore. really wierd do you have any thoughts?
Hi , i am doing the same on bmw f10 2013 , I wanna do in the driver side, can you please tell me what color of the cable is the brake light. My diffuser brings 3 cables black , re, yellow.thanks
Red is to day light runner, yellow is to the brake circuit and black is ground. F10 wire harness may be different colour so you should check with a test light beforehand. Hope this helps!
Hi, black is neutral + yellow/black and blue and red +?
@@n55morris14 Yes, I'm trying to install the F1 lights. I've got 2017 M140i 5 pins. Blue/gray..gray/black...brown....blue/gray...black/blue. I've tried different connection
Yellow from car is DLR. which goes to red of the light. Blue/gray is brake light which goes to yellow of light. M140i makes me assume UK or other parts of Europe which require Amber turn signals and potentially have a different harness. Best bet is to test with a continuity tester and confirm your own cars wiring
brake light doesn’t flash however the DRL works
@@terrysaybanha1973 interesting. Does the regular brake function work with the light?
Yes, currently using it as a regular brake light but i wanted to the have it as a drl and flashing whenever I brake. It seems like the brake doesn’t register as a brake light if the drl is on.
Also you can use the brown wire as a ground works perfectly
