If you can see your recording screen on a secondary screen be aware of when your webcam button is blocking the code you are sharing with us. This way you can just move it to a blank area and we can still see whats going on. You transmit great passion and delight with this subject and it sucks to get a bit lost. Hey I have a question, do you use tokens when testing the bot on the website?
The following will happen:
1. you build some bots for free.
2. you want to charge money for it, but there are so many software like Voiceflow Activepieces Bardeen etc. that no one is willing to pay 100$ for a bot they can build themselves in 10 minutes.
3. voiceflow and the youtuber make money on your engagement or by subscribing to one of the non free plans.
David Ondrej, I know the TH-cam meta is tough and you're forced to overpromise and upload at a breakneck pace, so don't take it personally. I agree with you on most points and consider you one of the most credible AI youtubers when it comes to the actual capabilities of current systems. But this type of content really turns me off. I understand motivating the masses to try something they probably wouldn't bother with because it looks difficult on the surface, but we have enough content creators clearing the junk. I want to see actual use cases and approaches that don't just mimic current solutions like vanilla RAG or Nocode nodebased automation tools, but outshine them.

I dont know about the other software you mentioned but bardeen is nowhere near what voiceflow is. You have got the whole concept absolutely wrong, no comparison whatsoever. Bardeen has no RAG. Bardeen has no conversations. I have used both and i have zero technical background but mate you can’t be any more wrong on this. The two are world’s apart. Bardeen is a scraper. Voiceflow is a chatbot and with capabilities that not many on the market have. The complexity of chatbots you can build, 10 minutes you are talking about is a joke.
If that is true, i’ll pay you $100 to build me a chatbot on voiceflow. Trained on my company’s data, answering exactly the way i want it to answer
@u.a3 They have support for custom API endpoints and can send stuff to the open AI Api aka assistants that have rag aswell build in. You can also quickly build a python automation using Supabase for rag etc. The Point is just that its easy and that RAG and Automations are nothing people pay money for at that level. Look 5sec into the langchain documentation or on the FlowiseAI Discord and your flooded with easily tweakable Automations Agents and Tools.
And no this Chatbots are not even finetuned they just use RAG on your companys data wish is usualy incomplete or outdated in many aspects. Usualy the RAG this Platforms provide dont give you the option to automate Tagging for embeddings or cant prefilter querys for the RAG leading to you pulling unrelated Stuff and confusing your Agent.
My point is just that i am exausted of youtubers that are clearly smart and have novel and interesting idears being forced to spam low quality content thats baiting people into having unrealistic expectations. You will not make a living off this like advertised. RAG is not the solution to everything. And until something actually relevant happens in terms of new approached to agents, memory or archetectures i dont want to see "MAKE X AMMOUNT OF MONEY WITH THIS SIMPLE TRICK" being proliferated over the Platform. I have seen some Interviews of Ondrej and he is clearly above this but gives into what drives Views. Hope that made my intentions clear.

This is not an AI problem to solve. This is simple imperative coding. This is like using AI to build a calculator.

@@asalvats EDIT: VOICEFLOW HAVE COMPLETELY CHANGED THEIR CHARGING POLICY. As a result of hugely negative feedback and cancellations, they're now letting you build 100 bots for the PRO rate of $50 a month. That's 5 times as many for the same price. And they're now only going to charge ONE FIFTH as much ($125 a month) for unlimited bots. That's a massive improvement in value. I think Voiceflow just saved themselves from annihilation.

Yep. Looks like it's great if you only want to make 20 agents. If you decide to make 21 agents, Voiceflow go absolutely insane with charging. I don't think I've ever encountered anything quite so ridiculous in my entire life. That's me, Voiceflow. I'm gone. Screw you. Sorry, David. It was a great video and I made the NewsBot. It was only afterwards when I confirmed what an absolute rip-off Voiceflow is.
you were talking about how awful the chosen term "utterance" is, in an earlier video on Google Agent Builder. Now you are kind of advertising an app that used the same term. what is it if this is not hypocrisy.
