I know I just published a tutorial on playing rotationally yesterday, but I decided it was more fun to play with Story Progression ON. I'd love to hear how you play Sims 3! Do you play with Story Progression or Sims 2 style?
I haven't played Sims 3 in a long time but I always turned story progression off. The choices the Sims made without me always seemed so random, rather than based on their personalities. But mostly, I just hated the idea that my sims were having all these big life moments without me witnessing them.
@@PleasantSims this is why i don't really like this mod... Everytime someone gets together you think "please stay together for at least 10 sim days" because they always argue and break up in the end :/
@@КатяГарь I'm pretty sure you can set probabilities of events like break ups, kids and marriages in the settings but I'm not sure how exactly. I swear I saw it before though
If I had to guess, I’d say Nina saw Darren as another boy toy, Darren went along with it because he’s oblivious and sad, but once there was a baby involved and Nina realized that Darren was taking things seriously, she fled.
@@PleasantSims Were Nina and Darren attracted to each other back in the sims 2? Bc its really weird that my story progression did the same! Put Nina and Darren together, had a baby and after having the baby they separated!
I totally feel you on John using the online dating, but the deal is, on Sims 3, every and I mean EVERY sim, married, dating or single does appear around the online dating, even if it's really weird for some of them.
I was a bit weary of how the Pleasantview sims would look in Sims 3, but you did such a great job! Dustin in particular has such a cute goofball vibe to him
I love story progression, but only when I'm playing a single household and not rotational haha. I prefer Sims 2 style for rotational gameplay, not 3 or 4. You can't name the babies, you can't control how you want the story to go, stuff like that. So I personally prefer single households in 3 and 4, and rotational in 2! With 3, I feel allowing story progression with NRAAS is nothing more than playing Russian roulette if you want a set story LOL
I wasn't going to complain about Dustin's eyes. I was struggling to see his eyebrows. lol. Beau is such a genius, he learnt how to fly! Guess we now know how Brandi and Dina met. So... Nirren is now a thing. I'm dying!!! Well... at least it's a nice change from getting pregnant by Don. No comments on Biscuit Pleasant. Why is Brandi wearing scrubs for her pregnancy? Maybe John wants a family with every female sim in town. Brandi when she met Lilith: 'Uh, Dustin, is Angela going through a phase?'
Man, so glad to see you making videos again! And lately I've been tempted to return to TS3, but I'm afraid my laptop won't handle it since I already have ts2 and ts4 installed. So your videos keep my soul at peace. Amazed by the amount of babies in just one part. It's like all the men of pleasantview had a plan to impregnate and dump as many ladies as they can. Dustin probably was able to leave the criminal career in exchange for favors on his new job. Turning a blind eye to an extra dead body burried maybe?
Hi Cindy! Just in case you didn't know, you can set Rename Newborns on Nraas storyprogression mod so that even if you're not playing them as the active family, you will never miss naming the newborns when they're born! I always have it on because I can't stand the randomised names for babies if I'm not controlling the household when they give birth!
I just spent the whole day downloading mods, setting up NRAAS, placing lots of lots in the neighbourhood (Pleasantview just became a city!), making a spreadsheet etc. It's 1 am and I have so much inspiration to play but I need to sleep (stupid adult life). I'll drift away watching this and tomorrow it's GAME TIME!
I'm not that into the sims gameplay series but this one is an exception. I love Pleasantview and its drama so much! Thank you for making such creative content :')
OMG! I love Pleasantview. I remember when I was a 10-year kid excited to play the sims 2 every weekend. So thank you for bringing me nice memories of this game❤

I played the Broke family in sims 4 someone uploaded them too gallery along with the home .. it was a struggle haha .. i had to cheat a little but made them successful also someone uploaded the Pleasant family and the Dreamer family as well i played all of them so much fun and nostalgia. I love sims 2

I think you're exactly right! I saw it coming! There's no way he could stay with her. I just hope she turns out to be a good mother!
