- In a security breach this week, PM #NarendraModi’s cavalcade was stuck on a flyover for 20 minutes in #Punjab. This led to 24/7 coverage on TV news on how #Modi’s life is under threat. The security breach quickly became an assassination attempt on primetime TV and all theories cropped up. #SudhirChaudhary on #ZeeNews wondered if there was a hidden sharpshooter around, #AmishDevgan on #News18 theorised on an LTTE-style suicide attack. This was yet another plot to kill the PM, according to usual suspects. Meanwhile, the case of Muslim women being auctioned on an app in the #BulliBai case was ignored.

In 2009 a young techie flinged a shoe at then PM manmohan Singh at an election rally on Sunday afternoon at Ahmedabad during CM Modi's rule,the white sneaker missed him by several feet.

We live in a world where people kill for mere rupees. It's the good management of Indian forces that even after lakhs of people attending the rallies, there has never been any attack on our PM. But this time the case is different, there was a security breach and it is a shame that the task force was not able to do this work properly.
People are never concerned about useless person's life. And so nobody gives a fuck about that so debated threat.

Maybe because their first instinct was to get the protestors to clear the flyover & proceed? Which is the job of Punjab Police - SPG is only the innermost security cordon of the convoy. The head and tail of the convoy are taken care of by local state police personnel.
