    7) Τσιγάρο λαϊκό-“The people’s cigarette”, Kaldaras
A tricky song to explain, but full of symbolism. Basically the singer compares himself/herself to a cigarette, saying that when her lover was poor she treated him as though he was her favourite brand, but now she throws him to the side. He tells her not to tread on her or to come by looking for him.
    8) Η σκλάβα-“The slave”, Tsitsanis
A woman who is a slave in a harem never stops loving and thinking of the young man she has left behind and loves.

    10) Σκοτείνιασε-“Night fell”, Mitsakis
As night falls and the streets of Athens are deserted the singer complains that he is alone, a child of the streets and no one can understand his pain. When he dies, if someone finds him and buries him, that someone will be the only person who mourns his loss.
    11) Κάτω στο Πασαλιμάνι-“Down at Pasalimani”, Petsas

The song imagines these beautiful oriental women, like magical portraits, who spread passion and desire through everyone.

    15) Βαγγελίτσα-“Vangelitsa”, Papaioannou
Another island song. Here the singer asks what he did to Vangelitsa and she left him and went far away. His only complaint in life is that he can not see her anymore.
    16) Τσιγγάνα-"Gipsy”, by Tsavalas
The singer asks a fortune teller to see if her lover will ask for her hand in marriage.
    17) Το μονοπάτι-“The pathway” by Mouzakis
In life many pathways open before you. However, if you take the wrong one your heart and body will be torn and wrecked. On this road you come and go and nobody will shed a tear for you.
