Despite this show being geared towards a younger audience, there were still some moments where I thought "This is for kids?".

Yeah, though that particular turn of events was a refreshing change of pace from how sugar coated they normally make kid's shows.

I started watching this show on a whim in December and I have not regretted it. Even if it might be a "kids show" there is some dark imagery and themes running around so much, and it's so wonderful. If you haven't watched it, please do, it's a great experience.

the voice actor died cause his car (i think when he was cleaning) pushed him up against and wall and he couldnt breathe.
The original actor died in a car accident. Rather sad. he was really good. They replaced his voice. Anton Yelchin, It was in fact 50.

Did you know:
Archadia is located somewhere in California. If you look at the story Blinky tells Jim about how trolls came to the U.S you'll notice that the area they settled in is in California. I don't know if that was on purpose or accident, but it's cool!

A decent amount of these facts in the video can literally be found and known by watching the show...I came to learn about stuff I didn't know about the show...stuff not shown or told in the show

In the book, it was Jim's mom who walked out and his dad was the one who cared for him. Blinky has tentacles, eight eyes, and is blind. Arrrggh had black fur and she was also a female troll who was respected as a hero who helped defeat Gunmar and she took his eye. Later we find out Jim's uncle was the trollhunter before him and he was a mentor figure in the book, as well as Blinky. Jim's nickname in the show was a nickname his uncle called his dad when they were kids. Toby's nickname was a modified version of Tubs as in Tubby because of his weight in the book. Jim's last name was never lake, it was Sertgess and he shares his first name with his father. In the show we also have a reference to the avengers movie with Arrrggh slamming a goblin to the ground the same way hulk did to Loki in the movie.

My sisters got into _Trollhunters_ about a year ago, and I really regret not getting into it when they did. After several months of convincing, I finally watched the show, and it's incredible. We just finished season 3 yesterday, and it did not disappoint.

Yes, they need to do a time travel crossover or SOMETHING. remember the phrase, spoken by Gobber in the first movie, "Trolls exist! they steal your socks! but only the left ones...whats with that?" well guess what they totally exist in the same universe and if the character don't meet then Hiccup should find the amulet or something and then spend the episode wondering what it is. At least add easter eggs to the shows to show they're in the same universe or something! Please!

I LOVE THIS SHOW AND IM ALMOST 20, I CRIED, THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO WITH A LOT OF INFO I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT:D i loved every episode. I only got interested after watching a storyboard released on twitter, episode 1 when Jim first met Blinky and Arrrgh. I only then got curious and once i started watching it i binged it.

In season 2, there is another How to Train Your Dragon reference. When Blinky is playing a game with ,Arrrgh I think, he was playing Maces and Talons. That game is used in Race To the Edge alot and has two episodes named after it.

This is one of the best cartoons on Netflix and probably one of the best that’s been created for a while, but it’s criminally underrated and should definitely be more popular than it is

Waka chaka is one of my fave EPs
I started watching this show expecting that it’d be an immediate joke. Just a few minutes into the first episode, and I was hooked. It’s surprisingly good, and I finished both parts (one and two) in about three days. It has such a creative plot behind it, and I love it so much!! Can’t wait for season three :D

Its One of the best series I've watched lately, the story really hooks you up!
This show is amazing! The best part is it's mature storytelling, the worst part is the character Claire (she's a mary sue). Everything else about this show is really good though, just tough through her moments.
I decided to watch this show because I saw that it was one of the highly recommended cartoons on Netflix, and I don't regret any of it! I was curious about the show, but I didn't expect to be as good as it is! The action is well done, it has some dark elements, which I like (I always like kids shows that aren't afraid to be risky and take it a bit further) and story is just so interesting that I couldn't stop watching!
I can totally see why this is a great show but at the time when I watched a few episodes I was really into Miraculous Ladybug so I never got into it.

I love this show! Ever since I was little, my mom and I had a tradition. She's Puerto Rican and to help me familiarize with Spanish sounds, we'd watch animated shows and movies together. Even though I'm actually pretty fluent now, everytime I visit, we actually watch Trollhunters in Spanish, so everything you said about the English cast was actually new to me (although I listened to a scene in English and it sounded sooo weird lol)

I just finished watching it recently after it ended, and the only thing I regret about it is not having watching it before, because it was such a great show!, like it was fantastic, everything from the storytelling, animation, imagination, the awesome characters, and just how emotional and beautiful was the journey of Jim in reaching the place he needed to be, his exploration of his duality, and what it meant for his progression in his decisions and how he progressed as a character, same as with the characters and their journey; I'd recommend it right off the bat completely, it doesn't matter anyone's age, if you love fantasy and you're a fan of Guillermo del Toro, this show is for you!

the first thing i think is, “woah is this really for kids…?” like yeah i get the trolls and some bits are cringe but as the tales of arcadia franchise continues, it gets more and more grown up. like the kids are growing up with the characters. This series deserves to be so much more popular. it’s so good. i would age rate it 10+ it’s very good most of it for kids but some bits are better for older kids etc ❤

Something I noticed was that Strickler's human outfit (brown suit and blue turtleneck) is the exact same outfit Megamind wears when he's disguised as Bernard.
