I freaking lost it when you dropped the disc. Good stuff as usual.

thanks! some good drills I like that slowly increasing method. seriously just getting a hammer and do that dangle and swing is helpful

Hi I was wondering if you'd help me understand something.
I can swing the disc back and forth with a straight arm really fast(like a ball golf swing)
The issue is my elbow does not bend at all, even a little bit. When I try to get the elbow to bend, I lose the weight of my arm and the weight of the disc, and my throwing arm no longer feels taut. This causes the swing forward to be weak and slow.
How do I get the elbow to bend without losing the weight of my arm/disc and maintaining a level of tautness that's appropriate.
Just another thing I thought of. I'd compare the way my arm feels swinging without bending the elbow to the feeling you get when you spin a ball on a string. You know when you're spinning the ball around on the string, you can feel the ball pulling against the string and keeping tension on the string. That's what I lose when I try to bend my elbow.🎉

So your shifting then turning the hips? Is the shift was makes the front heel plant? Your videos are great btw!

Thanks, yep, yep, lateral shift back and forth between feet without turning in direction of swing, should actually be turning the whole front side backward to resist turning open and loading internally into the rear hip and prevent the disc from moving forward until plant(Door Frame and Swivel Chair Drills leading into Crush the Can). That stores/loads/winds the swing back while your weight leads like the counterweight dropping on a trebuchet. Once most all your weight/lower spine has shifted/braced to either foot/leg then you can pivot/clear/turn/swivel your butt/body dynamically upright and tilted from the ground/foot up and arm swing is effortless along with your body/shoulders as long as you maintain a wide upper arm angle to whip the lower arm from closed shoulder position.

seabas22 great info. I'll try to work on it and watch those videos.
