Thanks for sharing. If your solar charger is full of power, how many days will it last without sun? If it's empty on solar power how many days would it take to fill the solar backup while in use? Do they make an alarm system (cell signal) that will tell you if you lose your charge some point?
Hello @amARI589 You would need about 835ft of poly wire and about 85 step-in posts, One kit and some extra posts and more poly wire should be good. Our stocking rate is 50 pigs per half an acre, so 100 pigs need a 1-acre paddock. We move our pigs to a new paddock every 5-10 days. The only "farming" you could do in a city is gardening. If you want to honestly farm you need to be willing to make the break from city living. Are you willing to do that ? If you aren't willing to make that move you will never be able to raise livestock. You know that.
Hello, I like your videos, but I still haven't found an answer to what if I want to raise 8 piglets. This requires an 800 square meter pen, where they spend 5-10 days and then go to the next one. But how many of these areas do you need to grow and not destroy the area? Greetings from Hungary!
For start have nice long grass with a mixture of oats. They will eat the grass first before they start digging up the ground when they start to do that move them to the next one usually once a week. At my friends farm they have 6 x 4000 sqr meter paddocks so that they have at least 6 weeks to recoup and grow the grass again and only 2 strands of wire for the electric fence

Hey @chadh123 ! In our experience, our solar chargers will last about 3 days without sun and usually take about half a day to fully charge again. ☀️
How many of them kits will be needed for an acre of pasture? And do i give the pigs access to the whole 1 acre.
