I must admit, I'm completely hooked on Homeworthy. Margo's tour was an absolute delight; her style, mixing numerous cherished items together, is truly remarkable. "Living it Country" is another fun Home Tour type of YT videos to watch... more the country vibe...but all different varieties on that theme!
CrockPot: find one of those Chicken/Stuffing crockpot recipes online (Chicken, seasonings, cream of chicken soup. sour cream, box of stuffing mix)...you just throw it in the crockpot and turn it on! So easy and delicious!
I LOVE Homeworthy!!! It has become my favorite inspiration source for decorating ideas.

I happened to catch Margo Roth’s home tour on Homeworthy. Much of her home is thrifted and secondhand and is beautifully put together. ❤

I just watched Margo’s tour too! She’s living in Winston Salem North Carolina near where I lived for many years. That’s why I watched, however I love her style…totally!

There is a third book in the Housemaid series coming in June. It’s called The Housemaid is Watching. My library already has it available to place on hold for pickup after it is released.

So funny, I just watched that Margo Roth Homeworthy episode this week purely because it’s in North Carolina. I didn’t follow the channel before now, I think it was a ‘recommended’ channel. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I loved The Housemaid #2 book! The end was sooo good. A friend was reading it too and I could barely stand it, she FINALLY finished and we could discuss. Thought I would combust while waiting
I love to read the same kind of books as you and there is going to be a third book of the housemaid series in June also I read The teacher by the same author and let me tell you by the end I yelled “WHAAAAATTT!!!” and I startled my husband 😬.
There is a new housemaid book coming out in June. I think it's the 3rd in the series. Love those.

I started studying E.W.B. Companion Bible. It’s King James but I read my ESV then look on all the added information he breaks down in almost every verse. If you want to expand your knowledge, I HIGHLY recommend . It’s deep, but I just skim through and mark what I understand. I’m in my second year and I am understanding it more. It has appendixes in the back. It’s very enlightening., to say the least.

We also had a Red Letter edition of the Bible when I was growing up. My mom read the entire thing, but for life guidance later, just went for the print in red. She'd say, "I'm Christian, so I want to know what Christ Himself has to say that will guide me." And she always strived to treat others with kindness and compassion, like Jesus. I really admired that.
It's cool having Christ's word in red, if that's helpful, but it's ALL God's Word to us. Jesus quotes the Old Testament extensively and and it all weaves into one big picture of God's design and purpose for the world.

When my kids were little, we cleaned out the fridge once a week and called it diner night. I'd make a menu (we had a chalkboard door) and they'd place their orders. It made a frugal activity a lot of fun. As adults now, they fondly remember diner night :)
Worth the watch. Her home is adorable. The nursery is so cute!

A few days ago I saw that Homeworthy video with Margo Roth…Loved it! I always get so many decor ideas from the Homeworthy videos.
You should read Ward D by Frieda McFadden. It’s my favorite that I’ve read of hers!

Perhaps you could pass your ‘found’ Bible on to your daughter, especially if you have hand written notes in it. I have my Grandmother’s Bible and it always blesses me when I open it and see her handwriting. It reminds me that she too loved the Lord and followed His Word. 💝
Hi Hilary, I have been enjoying your videos for a while now. I also love Homeworthy and one really caught my eye and you might enjoy also. It's called "Hungry for Home" with Ruth McKeaney. She has an old farmhouse that her & hubby "redid." She is a believer and her focus is to make her family and visitors feel loved and welcomed in her home. She shares recipes and her kitchen is so cool. She also wrote a book and it is well worth the price. Have a blessed April!
I believe that one is in PA where I live, I liked it too and noticed that we both have art by the same local artist which was fun for me to see. Her home is lovely

We always did leftovers on Sunday after church, which our boys didn't mind at all. After eating sandwiches for school lunches they were ready for a break. I called it "potluck" Sunday. Loved seeing Finn relaxing with you while you were reading!☕📕 🐶🤎
