See, this is why I don't subscribe to the misinformation about top tier AFPSDS damage. I've never noticed a huge difference between top tier shells in general, let alone just based on penetrator weight.

keeping the outtake battles in does actually help me learn because it shows me spots you can get killed from / you might not always check or think of. So I'd say keep this format for the time being, it's good

It's basically 2A4 turret. The wedge applique armor does nothing against APFSDS. It won't be behaving same armor as 2A5 and later tanks. Those wedges aren't different from later Leo2s, but later Leos had different turret design with much thicker composite armor and weak spot behind IR sensor removed. Leo 2 PL in this sense is still the best Leo, because it's addon armor isn't just some applique nonsense, but legit composite layers.

the front turret armor is hidden under the 10mm steel plates the turret can resist DM 53 if the angle is right its the improved mexas armor package the turret is also volumetric hell

These autoloaders are acting as a 1 time use spall shield. Getting ammo shots on T series tanks has massively gone down. It’s stupid yeah they may not be able to fire back but that leave you having to follow up and potentially not securing the kill and getting your self killed or third party’d. it’s a buff and a nerf at the same time 🫠 fuel tank shot are the play I think now.

There are multiple maps with such basic fixes to the spawn placement and simple general topography/gameplay flow fixes to bring them from being hot garbage to potentially some of the best (looking at you Fire Arc) you'd think the game came out 3 months ago. Then there are collisions, destructible/indestructible objects and their coherence from a map to another, hitboxes, whatnot. War Thunder will always have many meme-worthy issues but map design on the ground is really the absolute worst aspect of the game as of this moment. Other than that, GGs, discovered your channel a couple days ago. Good plays, concise info, quick thinking and strats, smooth radioman voice. I'm a decent player but I specifically need to work on some of my map positionning and you've got that nailed down better than me. Better timing offense/defense on tighter matches to avoid being out of position as well.
Like 31:46 : you can go thru that house's wall on Spaceport but can't go thru a shitty Morris column on Sweden and a house porch wooden beam on Abandonned Town or Am Desert will stop APFSDS. I have no TH-cam-friendly words to write about Gaijin map designers.

war thunder really needs new maps... the map rotation is bs and imo we need bigger maps for top tier so you cant spawn camp the enemy after killing the first wave of enemies... I would love to see some bigger maps with forests hills and so on we need more open maps I hate that cqc I want to snipe enemies and not camp them behind corners...

The cheeks have 20mm HHA underneath the 10mm rha so they do add a non negligible amounts of a armor. Like 100mm
