AB de Villiers was the most unique cricket player of all time. There's nobody in the world who can play shots like him. He scored fast and scored very good amount of runs everytime he came out to bat. He has saved his team from losing unlimited amount of times. Always came out to bat when the team was under pressure and the situation was tensed. And left the ground only after taking his team to victory single handedly. And fielding too, he is one of the best fielders you'll ever see. He was able to field at any position, any place. Statistics are something that don't reflect his career. He was far bigger than those numbers. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest ever to play the sport. Unfortunately, retired too soon because of the pressure he was getting from his country's cricket board. He was a magician. ❤️
Watching him and kohli bat together is one of the most beautiful thing that i've ever seen on earth!

2:30 just to clarify a bit, in cricket the crowd does not get to keep the ball that they catch ( like in baseball ) because the condition of the ball matters a lot in cricket. For example a new ball wont spin as much, but an older ball will. So it matters a lot. Hence the ball must be returned back to play in most cases. But sometimes if the ball cannot be recovered (for example hitting it out of the stadium) then the umpires have extra balls that are similar to the number of overs that ball was played....these balls are kept ready beforehand...But nonetheless A B dev Villiers is definitely a crowd favorite

It's not that he can 100% sure to choose in which direction he wants to hit but more it depends on the line and length of the ball, the speed the bounce and many factors you just have to be quick and creative 😊
You should check out Adam Gilchrist .Mr 360 got the fastest 100 in test cricket I think,Gilchrist got the 2nd fastest.He was a wicket keeper/batsman batting at number 7.Very destructive batsman when he got going
