    Shadow in the Warp reduces cost of your first creature per turn by 2 generic, and it hits opps for 2 when they cast their first non-creature spell per turn (synergizes with life totals strat). It's a decent fit.

    Correction to the list at 1:03, Kindred("tribal" before the errata) does count as a card type as well. I don't think there are any Kindred cards that are worth playing with Loot, but I thought its worth mentioning.

    I really like Manipulate Fate in Food Chain decks as a pretty solid tutor for the combo pieces. Also, Riftsweeper might be worth considering for this deck.

      I might have to add in Riftsweeper. It'd be a good recycler in case I exile something I needed not exiled.

      @@PlaneswalkerProject Depending on the power level your aiming for, Karn the great creator can recur your artifact while also staxing your opponents' artifacts.

    So I run Virtue of strength in my arena loot deck. It gets wasted 60% of the time due to getting exiled earlier than you can afford it, but the other 40% goes offfff. Triple mana from basic lands means pretty much every card you exile is playable

    Heres a niche and unknown card, but an auto include for any foodchain deck.
    Serum Visions!
    My foodchain deck is piltoed by Wilson/Guild Artisan. The gameplan is to impulse draw my way into 'polymorph'ing my background into Foodchain. Post combo, theres like a dozen wacky 'win cons', 2 if which are just lands (Study Hall/Opal Palace).

      I'm sorry but why is Serum Visions an auto include for Food Chain?

    so id like to correct you there is a 6th card type the one formally known as tribal i think its offcialy called kinship now anyway notable choices for this card type in these colors would be lignfy eyes of wisnet and thorn bite staff also altar of the lrygoyph can be solid if your on that agro plan

      Oh snap, I knew this technicality, but didn't realize any of them were permanents. Lol.

    I wasn't sure about the battle since you give it to your opponents so this help me decide what to do with little man and I will go for it adding any other cards as well

    "Oh boy, a Cast From Exile deck that isn't a Storm variant or money pile, sweet!"
    "So you'll want to run a Food Chain combo, a bunch of ways to tutor the combo pieces, and ways to protect the combo"

      I mean, compared to most of my decks I've built over the years, this is pretty average in terms of pricepoint. I don't really include the expensive cards in most decks, and I absolutely advocate for either proxying cards or finding more budget alternatives. These are meant as guides to what a deck can do, and folks are absolutely encouraged to improvise and adapt the lists to their own needs and budgets. I own a proxy copy of Food Chain, so I'm not tooting any horns here.

      @PlaneswalkerProject Not about price, but Power and Fun.
      Food Chain loops are boring and one-note, and most tables aren't going to be like "I love Food Chain loops and a ton of ways to tutor them, we should do this all the time!"
      Building for 'power' and "Winning Every Game Ever" is how you end up with arms races and miserable play experiences for everyone involved.
      If this is going to be a cEDH-esque list, then I'd argue it's crucial to specify so.

    • @babaXIII
      @babaXIII 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is too true. Most of these edh lists just feel like they try too hard and ignore the fun components.

    • @nebula8851
      @nebula8851 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @babaXIII From over a decade of personal testing, decks that are consistent are on average a LOT more fun to play than decks which push power levels. If your deck Does the Thing more often, then what that Thing is becomes less important.
      Any EDH player should expect to lose 75% of the time, it's what makes the games you DO win all the better.
