    Oh my GOD I'm such a smoothbrain, I was under the impression for the last 14 episodes that the statements were being recorded as their authors were reading them out, and Rusty Quill just didn't bring in new voice actor's for every episode and trusted the audience to work with some suspension of disbelief. Possibly…I think the lighter Lee gave to Angela is what caused the “curse” to pass onto him. Angela needed something that belonged to Paul for it to work, the lighter that he had borrowed from Paul and kept for years. Once he killed Paul, technically the lighter didn’t have its owner anymore. Like when someone passes away and you have items that you got from them that become yours. The lighter is what tied the curse to the victim, therefore Lee became the only connection to the lighter used in Angela’s curse.

Angela said “why not” & something about hungers being too great(excuse my poor paraphrasing rn, I don’t wanna scrub through the video until I relistened🥲🤭). Like those are two contradicting or different reasons to do something like this but they both can go hand and hand. I think it was also his bloodlust and revenge along with the fear u mentioned that might’ve been the hunger she was talking about.

    Jon really outdid himself this episode. And now I just visualize him locking himself in a room or some hidden corner somewhere in the archive just to fully awaken his inner theater kid and go ham on the voice acting XD probably does some pacing and stuff too, once he really gets into it.
    And who is this Marting guy and what did he do to make Jon dislike him so much? I mean, hearing his disdain for the guy amuses me more than it probably should, but is Martin like a bad guy or something? Is he gonna be important later on or is he just one of those background characters who die offscreen to further the plot?

    I’m kind of surprised that no one in the comments (from what I can see) are bringing it up, but I’m really focused on how Angela said that the item from Noriega couldn’t be a gift. So, possession of the item was important to the magic. Even though the item wasn’t a gift, since it was stolen by Rentoul I could see how the item may have defaulted to his possession once Noriega was dead. This might have been why Angela couldn’t have stopped it (though I doubt she cared to either).

    • @May-nt3ow
      @May-nt3ow 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it has to do with the intent & energy around the object. A gift is a choice, something being taken is a violation of hatred. And yes, I agree, she didn't care either way.

    @Falcon-doing-doodles ปีที่แล้ว +53

    Hearing Jon say curse words is just such a novelty to me, I don't know why.
    Also for anyone that hasn't pieced it together yet, Angela's jigsaw puzzles were all people, and every time she found a piece and put it in place, the person in the picture would loose a bit of themselves. The item she needed was probably so the power she was using would get the victims scent, though not in a physical way. A gifted item wouldn't work because it wouldn't be connected to them anymore
